Okay, I've PM'ed both Oaky and Banf21.
 
Being it that our challenge is by game play time now, wouldn't it be acceptable to hatch the egg and start the challenge at different times than others, as the amount of time it takes to level it won't really matter?
 
Okay, I got my egg and hatched it. Here is a pic of what it is (be warned that I'm using my Mac to take pics, so it will come out backwards but I will translate for you guys):

Now... that's gonna be a bit hard to read, so I'll tell you what it says:
Name: Jeremy
Time: 197:43 (that's my starting time, make a note!!!!!!)
Badges: 8 (obviously)
Pokedex: 320 (not horrible)

I am going to do quite a bit of grinding from now until tomorrow afternoon, but I will not have access to this computer so I will not be able to post pics. I will, however, make a note of what happens every 10 or 20 levels, so you guys will get updates.
 
you should of made a certain time or something so we can trade the egg becuz alot of people havent even started yet
 
Because of the whole idea of using in-game time, that point is pretty moot.
 
well i guess if anything else doesn't happen within 2 days ima drop out the challenge
