Yeah, music can really affect your physical output, so angry music doesn't tend to lend itself to awesome drawings.

It may be true for some people. but it certainly isn't for me. I find I can retain a lot more if I just concentrate on whatever I happen to be studying at the moment.

I usually listen to slower music when I'm drawing, not that I do much of it these days either. Seems that's the common trend lately.

I guess it differs for people, my friend was drawing to angry music, she drew a really cool picture, but it was a picture of someone stabbing another person.. @_@;

Well not everyone is the same, but hey, that's cool, you don't roll with the crowd. XD

Yeah...that, um, yeah, that's slightly disturbing, but I can see how that sort of music would help her out to draw something like that. Don't think that's something I'd particularly want to try, not just for the fact that fast/angry music throws me off there's also the fact that people might be freaked by the final product.

Something like that. XD I think it'd be better to be able to study with music, would probably make it a lot less boring, but that's not gonna be happening anytime soon. The last time I tried that I ended up wasting a half hour drifting off into the music. Not good when you have a test in a few days. XD;
 
Yeah, we were kind of surprised by what she drew. She's usually such a calm person, but angry music made her produce something satan would do himself. o.O;

Sometimes it is hard to listen to music while reading/studying. It still helped me when I did exams, because I would try and study, but now I don't even bother to study because it's so boring.. D;
 
I usually always have music on; but I'll have specific playlists for when I'm doing different things. Different music for writing, to that for photoshopping, for example. Deep progressive themes help me write, while more mellow themes and lighter-hearted stuff help me 'shop.

Guess it would probably be a good idea to stay away from her when she's angry. If that's what she does with her art, I'd hate to see the other things she's capable of. XD

Yeah, I don't think studying is supposed to be any kind of fun. Unless you're really interested in the subject at hand, in which case more power to you. The world would be a far better place if it was fun. That or we'd have more smart and crazy people running around in which case the planet would be going to hell faster than it already is.
 
She's not allowed to play with scissors or anything sharp.. She nearly shredded my car up with a stanley knife. D; I guess she's not so calm after all.. XD;

The world can be a fun place if you make it! <3 Like me, instead of having a normal boring party tomorrow, I'm having a cosplay party. ;D But not everyone should make it fun, which is why we have the boring types who balance out the world.. XD

And you're friends with this person...why? XD; I'd try to stay the heck away from her if I were you, but that's just going on the fact that all I know about her is that she's a seemingly insane artist.

Cosplay part definitely sounds better than a normal party. I guess there needs to be some balance, but it would truly suck to have to be one of the people that has to balance out the world in that aspect. Or who knows, maybe boring is fun for them and we're really the boring ones stuck in some endless cycle.
 
She was nice when I met her, and she still is, just when she doesn't take her medicine, she goes a bit weird.. XD; She has A.D.D, so I guess that would explain everything.

I guess you can't really imagine what life would be like if you were boring/or fun. I don't really understand how people can be boring though. I guess they just don't like excitement in their life. ;<
 
I don't think the A.D.D. would lead to anything that extreme, at least I've never come upon a form of it that has results like that. Ah well, at least she can keep it under control, maybe she won't need the medicine one day.

I'm sure they like excitement, it's probably just different from what you or I or anyone else views as exciting, every person is different. That or they really don't mind being boring in which case they're weird.
 
She doesn't like taking the medicine though.

And this is where she comes into the discussing of being boring. XD;

She said that when she takes the medicine, even though it makes her concentrate more, it makes her really tired and boring. ;< She also said that taking the medicine makes her loose her creativeness. D; So I prefer her when she's off the medicine. She's not that psycho, really. We just have to keep her away from sharp objects and angry music.. XD;

I need to meet a boring person one day. :D
 
I can't imagine too many people would like having to take something like that.

I guess as long as she can be kept away from anything that has poison, is sharp, can explode, implode or is a projectile, she should be fine. I would hope so anyway. Even if she doesn't like taking the medicine, it's always a good idea to have some nearby just in case anything ever happens or she happens upon something dangerous. XD;

I'm sure you've met tons of boring people, they're all over the place. You probably just haven't made it a habit to befriend any of them.
 
Oh, but the effects of the drug won't work straight away, so she'd have to take it before hand. But usually she's pretty fine, well with us she is. I have no idea how she's like at home. She's lazy though and never picks up her phone, or is always sleeping and she hates technology, so she doesn't have MSN. ;< Why am I talking about her.. ? XD; She'll probably kill me if she found out.

I'm guessing she's not as fine as she seems at home, most people are like that. We're all weird people when we think no one is watching. Annnnd, literally or figuratively? It's hard to tell after what I've read.

They wouldn't be boring then! And I'm sure they would stay the heck away from that bloody dance if they saw it coming. XD

There's a lot of things that people shouldn't do, doesn't stop most of them from doing it. XD

You should just teach the dance to your friends, make the non-boring people more exciting. I'm not sure a boring person would appreciate learning the dance.

I dunno. Something about a person who scraps up their friend's car just strikes me as logic having absolutely no place. So I doubt she would mind killing you.

I love how I can justify the strangest things.

Wow. XD I remember people wanting me to learn that dance, I hated it so I was usually the odd man out. I think naming them after certain characters is more likely to piss them off than motivate them.
 
Don't make me paranoid about my friend... XD;

I tried in every way motivate them, I even drew them all in the school uniform that Haruhi wears. D; But they still wouldn't agree with my methods. I lack leadership. ;;

I can't help it. XD; It's an awesomely horrible gift that I've been given. Don't worry though, I doubt she has any homicidal thoughts about you anyways.

Yeah...I can't see that as something that would actually motivate anyone already not motivated. Again, probably just something that would get them mad.
 
Good. She'll be sleeping at my house today so yeah. o.o;

They thought my drawings were cute though, they weren't really mad, just really really lazy. ;< If I lived in Japan, then anyone would do the Hare Hare Yukai with me.. XD
