Eh, it's not really worth flaunting an iPod when everyone you know has one. XD; Seriously, everywhere I look in my school, there's a person and their iPod.

It's more than that though. He's commenting on the symbolism that the iPod defines. You know, that it's a piece of technology that all the cool/happy/hip/well-off people own.

Would so many people yearn for it if the iPod wasn't such a product? I remember the first time I saw an iPod it was when Eminem was using it in a D12 video clip - mad product placement no?

I'm thinking of getting an iPod, but for the video capabilities and the memory available for songs. But I've checked on some prices, and they seem way out of my price range! Couldn't believe it....

My MP3 Player is a 4 Gig with a small scrolling screen and sound recorder. It cost £40. For the same availabilities (aside the voice recorder) an iPod that does the same thing costs well over £100. I think that's the issue of branding.

So I'd settle for a imitation cheapo brand but not so cheapo iPod that does the same thing. I don't need named brands to be satisfied. I need a trillion gigs worth of space!! And a small screen to view my, erhem, *interesting* videos....!!

I would say Ipods are highly worth it though because you've got all the accessories for it and the Itunes store to purchase music/films/videos from. Where with other MP3's your kind of on your own in finding somewhere to buy music where with Itunes its all there for you and all in a good quailty.

I don't really need all that other extra stuff on an MP3. I just need a music player, and that's what I get in an iPod, just because it's simple and straight to the point (even though i does have all that extra stuff I don't use). Plus it just looks so sleek and awesome.

I have an iPod Touch, though I didn't reeeeally want one. My dad is a huge Apple geek, and since I needed a new MP3 player he used that as an excuse to get the Touch XD; Even though it's mine, I didn't get to use it for like, 2 weeks after I got it. My dad kept on messing with it :/

But I actually kind of like it, going on the internet from it is pretty sweet, and I like watching videos on it too, the screen is so nice and big for an MP3 player <3

I'm with you there, iPods are passion to me too. Well maybe since not all people like Pokemon in the world and, theres to many seasons to be begin with on iTunes Shop :/
