Aaah, I think this is my original account from PC, but it's been too long for me to be completely sure. I was active a couple times over the years, but I've never been able to really keep focused on most forums. I just end up drifting off. I'm making an effort to stay active on PC and not drift away this time. It's definitely the only one I keep coming back to, though. Didn't last on Serebii, didn't last on friend's forum, never joined any others. Ha ha. Gotta keep up the effort this go around!

As for the internet in general...I've been using it for a while, but I never bothered to join anything or interact with anyone other than my RL friends until mid-2003? Aaah, my memory is so foggy. |3

I've heard something about thieves using minor's identities for...goodness know what, but unless they're on the verge of adulthood, I can't think for the life of me think of much. I don't have a credit card myself...can minors get them without parental approval? Mysteryyy.
 
I don't think you can get a credit card without parental permission unless you're the age of majority, which is 18 in most places. oo; I'm not entirely sure though--I only bothered getting a credit card a few months ago and I'm 19 so there wasn't a problem. XD I think maybe you can get prepaid credit cards though. You load cash onto them and they're kind of like gift cards except... credit cards. I'm not sure if you need parental permission for those.

Augh, this reminds me I have a credit card bill to go pay, orz.

They wanted to be their own forum again--the staff felt too restricted at PC and... I dunno. I don't know the details. XD;

And I have no idea what name it would've been. Maybe Lightning, maybe Pichu, maybe something completely different. :/

I don't think I knew him. I knew OF him, certainly, but I was a lowly member at the time. :'D I barely talked to staff, let alone admins.

I should be getting ready to make dinner right now. So, ya know, folks around here won't starve. Instead I'm wandering on PC. Whoops.
 
I have no idea, but lol I think I might vaguely remember that? Or I'm thinking of someone else. That actually happened to people multiple times. :(

But yeah, staff were like... not as "in" with the members as now. XD; Like, you'd never see them posting in normal threads. They'd be scarce until suddenly ZOMG THREAD CLOSED. Like ninjas or something. Unless I was just really intimidated by them back then and it's still the same way now and I don't notice because I am staff. XD;
 
Well, back on the old old PC, we had like... 10 mods. :[ In total. Including s-mods. And the admins were even more intimidating. (I think the number of mods was like 17 back when PE2K was around but that's probably about it. XD)

We didn't have really have (m)any active mods until my "generation" of staff were modded. So me, Andy, Abby, etc. @_@
 
Post count doesn't necessarily mean you"re active. It could be full on spam (which it obviously wasn't, but just using this for an example.)

PC has a lot of mods, a lot.

I agree that postcount is pretty pointless, but I like having it. It keeps me active when I give myself postcount goals. :B

But I do talk to everyone, no leaving out the admins:D,,

And my goal is to get over 1000 posts before my 1 year anniversary:D
 
I know this is shallow, but at least some people think that way. Post counts somehow represents how "Expert" and how "familiar" you are with the forums. Not that I agree with it, but I have been rejected repeatedly because of my low post counts (in other forums).

I don't talk to THAT many people, and I know some staff hates me :'(
 
I had gotten my 4000 in my first two years, but now I have hardly been active at all the past two years, but the forum that I was more active at during that time has become like totally dead (well basically) so I have come here to greener pastures.
 
I've... been active all 6 years here. 8D; Though I think I've been especially active in the last year or so? o_o; I dunno, but I think my posting rate is a lot higher lately than it ever was before.

I remember I used to think people with high post counts were pretty knowledgeable. I guess you'd sort of have to be to put enough time into getting a lot of posts, but then I also know that some people with lots and lots of posts are total idiots so... I don't even look at anyone's postcount these days. I just go by posting style.

Like....a fraction fourth half the majority of my postcount is stupid stuff I can't remember D:
Don't judge a person by postcount!
