I know. That's why I said that snowblower is handy.
 
;_; No snow here, just fast winds and lots of rain. It's been like this for days, and it's freaking cold in here. Apparently this is the last day of term for my friends, but I left school last year so this doesn't really effect me... Eh. Christmas here is usually like this. We're too close to the sea, so no snow.
 
Eh Los Angeles never gets snow...Only rain. D= You have to go to Big Bear, Resorts in the Mountain areas to see snow here in Southern California. SO no...we don't get school cancellations. But back in the Philippines...the storms are so frequent, "school's-out" is normal. =/
Heh last day of school for the year...were just playing around now. No work so I'm in PC. ^_^

We're starting to get a lot of snow as we speak. I've heard predictions of up to a foot or more in some places. Oi...that's going to be a lot of shoveling =P
 
Well, we ended up getting about 8 inches of snow where I live.
I think just about any establishment in mid-Michigan that teaches anything
was closed today. :D

Ice over non-flowing bodies of water here —no snow— and the ice breaks only with a couple pounds placed onto it.
Once upon a time before my birth, England got at least three weeks of snow; now it melts upon ground contact and mostly rains throughout winter.

I don't mind though, snow is only good when there are mountains to go with it.
 
Still snowing rather hard. Should I shovel while the snow is still coming down and then shovel again later? Or should I shovel the entire load all at once afterwards?

Do it afterwards. Trust me.
One big load will seem like less work
than two fairly large loads.

Even though I don't have any experience with snow, I think Jake has the right idea. Sounds like a good plan to me -- it works with other things.


I've been missing from most of the net because we brought home a kitten yesterday. The kitten's name is Jasper and he's so cute. It's so weird to have a cat in the house because he's so tiny. I think his entire body would fit in my dog's paw print! I'm really happy, though, since Ranger (my dog) seems to love him. I can't wait until they can meet without a wall/window between them.

Also, Jasper acts like a dog, making him a very cool kitten, IMO.

And my space bar is sticking. Argh. >O

Animals are so fluffy and luff. <3 My cat's weird! He waits on me to get out of the shower. D: And no one calls him by his real name...I call him Muffin or Wuffles...because...I want to. I might have forgotten his real name. -looks around-
 
Aww, kitty. It's been a long time since I had a cat, is it as much fun as I remember it was? Does it chase your shoelaces and clamber around the furniture? :D
...Does it go to the bathroom in your shoes?

My dog's been acting up today. It's probably because it's been too bad to take him out anywhere today, but the winds were crazy and the rain hasn't stopped since yesterday. In fact, I can still hear the wind whistling down the fireplace. It's freaking cold in here. *grabs a sweater*
 
Lawl, it's like 68F here today :| So un-Christmas like.

Tangerine Fox, my pets were like that too :[ We had to keep my kitty and my dog in different parts of the house until... about a year after we got my cat. My dog would go crazy when he saw him, and then one day he just... stopped XD And now they can be like, inches apart and don't even care.

opft, we're 78F, so we're even more un-Christmas like. ;<
I wore shorts today. XD;
 
Yeah it was like 75 degrees here as well, and I too wore shorts. But it is suppose to get really cold this weekend here. I swear the weather has been fluctuating weirdly lately, I don't know what is going on. One day it is snowing, then the next day it is scorching hot. xD

Aww man, I hate when that happens!
One day it's beautifully white and picturesque,
and then the next day the ground's all muddy
and disgusting. That stinks.

When that happens here it's usually
so bad that I don't even want to go outside.

Yeah, that is what I heard about places where it snows a lot. Actually when I was visiting some family in the Twin Cities It snowed and it was great. We when ice skating and snowboarding, but then the next day when we went into the city the snow was all like brown and mucky...it was really nasty. xD
