There was a point where I thought homeschooling would be cool or w/e, but I'd have turned out maladjusted and be miserable really. Though it'd never have happened ;]

There are pros and cons to every kind of schooling. With public school, there's a wider range of people and subjects, but some of those subjects you might find impossible and the kids might be mean to you.

With private school, you usually have smaller classes and have the same classes with everyone in your class/grade, but that's the con (not having enough friends or a wide range of subjects to choose from).

And with homeschooling, I guess (I've only gone to public school and private school), at least it's your parent(s) or someone who knows you well enough, but you wouldn't have the opportunity to make any friends.

That's just my thoughts on it :/

But then you eventually drift away from the friends you've made, and basically have no social life.

I have a social life. I drive a car, have a phone, facebook, etc.
I might not see them at school but I pretty much live at my best friends house. I also got to take classes at the local college, my charter school offers several classes, and I'm a part of World Affairs at my old high school.

Not to mention that in todays world, at least where I live, you need money to have a social life :/

Plus, you can't walk around because of either criminals, or poor weather standards. There are a variety of excuses to come up with.
Someone may spend their whole life on a computer, but have a great social life. It's easily possible.

@Mence Master: I don't know where you live, but criminals aren't such a big epidemic where I live that you can't even walk around. ._.'

Well, in certain places, not necessarily where I live.
But it gets cold and icy here sometimes, so it's best to just stay inside.

I remember studying that in French, that they get Wednesdays off. Except aren't the schedules (for high school) more like American colleges? You guys have like, 2 hours of a class, then a break, then 2 hours of another class, etc.

And sports, given the academic standards are so high, are held before school in the early AM? Well, it's like that somewhere in France anyway. :P

Well i started a 8:10 Am until 10:20 AM before a 15 min break then back until 12:25 after that was lunch break until 14:15and lessons started to 16:55 and that was the end of the day

the holidays are starting from the third of september are 25th of october till 4th november,20th of december till the 4th of Jan,the 22nd of feb till the 8th of march, the 19th of april tillthe 3rd of may and finallythe 3rd of july untill the 3rd of september

thats a total of 98 days of holiday per year and 190 at school

..if I read that right, that holiday schedule sounds delicious. France, here I come!

Hmm..

Hay that is true in many cases at school friends.
I've moved a lot during my short time here on Earth. And I used to be not that social to begin with. =/ At least today's generation doesn't think that Fandom stuff (i.e. Pokemon) is "weird" since they also have their own likes/dislikes.

I make friends at school then we moved to another city. Make friends there, then I had to Move to Canada, make friends there, go back to the Philippines to my aunt, move to another school, go to the US. make friends, then you have to go to ANOTHER school for HS.

I barely even knew how to use social networking back then so I never really re-contacted them. D=
These circumstances had caused me to keep to myself mostly in RL. But ZOMG...once you get me talking. XD

LOL, didn't you know that Europeans aren't as much of a workaholic compared to us Americans? =P

Ice? Snow? Cold?
I have no idea what those are, I live in California. XD
You're living in the wrong part of California, then. There are such things as ice, snow, and general cold if you go to the right places.
