My nan is always complaining that we have a real fire, and she has an electric one.
She kept clamouring for one and now she's got one she doesn't ever have it on.

Our fire gives her an excuse to come round and stay for aaaages.
I just normally fall asleep on the sofa when she comes round.
 
I think we have a gas fireplace at home. I don't remember though. We never, ever use it, so... XD;

We've just started to use ours again as it's been an extremely cold October.. way too cold for fall

I see... Anyway my social studies teacher just busted me on watching Simpson in the middle of the class.. He didn't look that mad.. xD

At least I wasn't thrown out.. :3

Social studies was mas last class today.. :3

I couldn't however read the article as my brother immediately picked it up and threw it in the fire because it needed some paper to get it going. Haha, my profs don't really care what we do in class so long as we aren't distracting the other students. Though I might've been earlier. <_<; The guy sitting next to me in my algebra class kept looking at my screen while I was posting, lmao.

Hey, I kept looking at this girl's laptop in class today too. Couldn't have been you though. You're like two thousand miles away from me.

:( Well don't do it--if she notices, she'll be creeped out.

Though it might've just been that this guy was a little off. He also stood up and bolted from the room about halfway through the class, leaving all his stuff. Then came back and sat down like nothing happened. o_O;

I don't get caught by teachers; they stay at their desks and I always take a computer which they can't see. (Library, by the way.)

But a fellow student just looked at my screen. I minimized it and he just started looking at me funny. Then he looked at the window's name and said "oh, you're just in a chatroom." Then he actually restored the window and looked at it! I logged off automatically when he said "ooh, chatting with your girlfriend?"

He is so nosey. Ugh. v_v;

lol back in high school I was always so transparent about what I was doing on the computers. @_@;; I really only had access to them during my computer science class and I'd just browse PC the whole time and squeeze all the work in in the last 10 minutes. I'd still finish before everyone else. It drove my teacher nuts. XD;

See, I'm left-handed. And the lecture hall doesn't really have those swing-out-desk thingys for lefties so I'm forced to lean over to my right where she is, giving me a clear view of her screen (Facebook, by the way. The past time of all college students.). Moreover, because I have to lean over to the right, I'm all up in her personal space anyway. She has other things to be creeped out about. ._.;;
