It really sucks because I get free beer every week from where I work and I don't drink it. D:

Why? o_O; idk what the deal is--I certainly knew drinking too much alcohol was a bad thing at 14 (considering we're talking about drinking too much of something atm). That and it's not uncommon to have tasted alcohol by that age anyway so I really don't see the big deal.

If you're not chasin' the booze by age 1 in my state, you ain't southern no more. You're shipped away to the north.
 
Black Ice, you don't have to do things because people want you to, just because they're older than you =| I mean, having no option but to drink it would kind of suggest you were at risk of some sort of torture. Seriously, were they holding you at gun point?

I was in that position with a ton of my friend's drunken friends (without the torture) when I was 15, and they gave up on me.
 
Meh, I like Root Beer.

But I never had alcohol in more than minute amounts. =/

I haven't had anything alocholic...from what I remember, that is. I don't go to parties or anything, so I haven't run into any peer pressure about it.
 
I've had some alcohol in my life. My parents let me have a few mixed drinks on Mother's Day and my mom's birthday. Aside from that I've only had alcohol at a party once but I didn't even have enough to get drunk. I'm not a big fan of beer either, I can tolerate it, but I prefer Smirnoff Ice.
 
See, that reminds me, I think the fact that my parents have always offered me alcohol partly contributed to me not being all that bothered by it xD

Every sip I have of what they like...it just tastes like paint stripper.
 
Yeah alcohol isn't all that great! I hate seen drunk people I never want to be one of them. Fair enough for drinking but I hate people with the intention of going out to literally get off their faces!!!
 
I just hate the kids I know that take pictures of themselves drinking and post it on myspace because they think it makes them look cool.
 
^ Same. Same about smoking..and drugs. :\

I've had alcohol before, on holidays and such. I have yet to taste one drink with alcohol that doesn't make me gag when it touches my tongue. >:

Well, I think it will also be good for California's economy.
You know, I've tried pot and alcohol and pot essentially does the same thing that alcohol does to a person. I never understood why people get so uptight about it.

Honestly, it's not really that easy when you're only 12 or 13 >.> I know better now though.

Probably because they are either:

1. People who believe the government is God and so if something is illegal then they throw a fit.
2. Idiots.

Usually both.
 
I love some alcohol. But only fruity drinks. XD I adoooore my vodka coolers so much. I try to always make sure we have some in the house. n_n And pretty much anything raspberry flavoured I'll at least try. If it's too strong an alcohol though (I can't really do anything higher than 6 or 7% XD) then I won't drink it.

Agreed. I love, love, love fruity alcoholic beverages. Totally not a stereotype, btw. >.>
 
Because they are absolutely fabulous drinks. And so tasty. omg. *_* I like them because the alcohol taste isn't so overwhelming so you can enjoy the flavour instead of just going "whoooaaa that's a lot of alcohol ffff".
