Ohh I loved being one of the favourites. In my school, the French hallway (where all the French classes are) was scary. The French teachers were known for being particularly anal about everyone being in uniform, no running or talking in the hallways, don't be wandering outside of class, etc. So people usually avoided them and dreaded having to be in that area.
...but I took French all the way through high school, so the French teachers loved me. In grade 12, I'd constantly walk down that hallway to my geometry class while wearing a black jacket instead of a school sweater, or my friend would have a brightly coloured shirt under his uniform polo and wouldn't get written up for it because he was walking with me... it was awesome. XD; Sometimes during a spare (and... while I was skipping class or something XD), we'd be walking down that hall and she'd come out to scold us and, instead, just end up talking to us and ignoring her class for a bit ahahaha.
Similarly, that same friend was the favourite of our geometry teacher (who didn't like girls in his math classes because math was not a girl's subject 9_9) and I swear to god the only reason I did so well in that class was because he thought I was going out with my friend so it put me in good standing.
lol favouritism. :')
