You're... weird. Even by PC standards.

I've met plenty of Canadians. They're too busy drinking and mining for ice to invade a country.

You forgot making maple syrup 8D

...I don't want it to be TOO hot. Just. You know. Maybe high 20s.

(Later in the week I predict DCC posts from me along the lines of: "omg you guys it's so hot, this sucks... why isn't it winter yet? ;__;")

The health care situation is tricky. Approving it could bankrupt us, but not having it is making the people who truly cant afford it suffer. but i think if it passed there would be alot of people that would abuse it (misuse it). peolple need to realize that 50% of the people who dont have health care (insurance) are people who chose not to have it for whatever reason.

I myself am against it.

But england has free healthcare and we're doing fine...ish...apart from the global recession...

You are a very rude chi- omg how did you all post so quickly x.x;;;;

Free healthcare sounds awesome. I don't see the negatives of it..

Slow Chibi is slow. :(

And the only downside (I know of) to free health care is that the system can get pretty crowded. As far as I know, wait times are longer in Canada than they are in the US. Like... you have to wait months for some procedures whereas I guess if you paid for it to be done privately in the US you wouldn't wait nearly as long. The longest I've ever had to wait for something was a month though so... I've never had much of a problem. o_O;

Um. ._. okay.

@Ctep: Ugh I know. D: If it weren't for socialized health care I probably would've run my family bankrupt by now omg. ;__;' Considering a one-night hospital stay can be up to $10k...
DX Hospitals overprice things.

XDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

Even if free healthcare is available, you can still go private if you want to make sure you're getting top quality.

So I don't get why people are against it >.>
Exactly, they are complete idiots. But it's America so it's expected. *waits for negative rep* A vast majority of Americans were raised to be so close minded about everything they refuse the except anything. You can shove the proof/benefits/etc up their anus and they will still say your false. :|

Wow, really? :( I don't know anyone who liked Bush by the end of his terms. No one here liked him at the end of his first term, let alone his second. v_v

But yeah, free health care ftw. It's one of the reasons I could never live in the US--I'd be so scared of getting sick or something :|

I know, I cant believe he was even re-elected. :| He was a pathetic excuse for a human being. >:

Eh, I don't think he was a bad person in the least, he just made some stupid choices imo. And needed to watch his words. XD;

Though I do very much appreciate Bushisms.

In my opinion, anyone who thinks a group of people are just representatives of the devil and anyone who calls a nation "the axis of evil" is a horrible person in my eyes.
