Hello Kitty eh? Never really understood that...

But Lightning had that theme for how long now? O_O;

eww I hate wearing a bra to sleep. ;_;' so uncomfortable, lmao. *tmi's back*

To be fair, the person in my sig and avatar will still be male, as usual. XD;

I... was awesome. I find it hard to make anything now. XD;

Sports bras are comfy. You should just put what gender you are. Like verybody knows anyway. well the regulars here do.

Sigh, im enjoying Ctep free posting. Feels great.

@Netto: Um. On and off for over a year. (Probably had it for at least 9 or 10 of the last 13 months. XD)

;_; They don't work well for me so I don't even have any, haha. And I'm well aware most people know my gender. I just prefer not to have it there anyway. :>

Our teachers have banned Wiki in our University >_> 8 people failed news writing for basing all their info on it XD

Oh god, the amount of people who couldn't figure out how to use Wiki properly was ridiculous in my school. <_<;;

I mean, I'll admit wiki was always my first stop to get basic background info but more importantly, to find other sources because usually what they list as sources at the bottom of the page are a-okay to use in an essay as resources. 8) And that's where you start. Most people would just rewrite the wiki page via thesaurus and word rearranging.

Gah! That's horrible. I'd never use wikipedia for research (aside from looking at original sources), but even then I found those unreliable. This is because they were not student reviewed (or whatever it's called). Our own school's site, had a link to secondary and primary sources related to our subject, so we already had an abundance of info.

Wiki stinks. All of the pictures they have and the articles are old. I have never enjoyed using it.

@Pol!: Really? :( I can waste a whole day on wiki just reading stuff.

Ugh, our school was supposed to have resources like that available but the websites never worked, the logins expired, etc. :( That said, so long as you pay attention to what you're reading and look into where it's coming from, wiki can be a great place to start. Whether it's all 100% or not, it still gives you a good background on what you're looking into and then its sources are usually good enough to pass (and if not, are great for giving you ideas on what direction to take your research, etc.)

The only time i use Wiki is if i want to resaerch anew game before i go buy it or if i have to do a article in some animal.

Another fun game is picking your favourite video game or TV show or person, etc. and then hitting Random Page and see how few clicks it takes to get to the page of said favourite. :D

Though I still had an affinity with books. Especially when I was researching Louis XIV.

On another note, there was a philosophy teacher in the US, who wanted to show the uselessness of wiki, so he tasked the class into creating accounts and changing one article. Apparently if there is a majority who agree with the article, it can no longer be edited, and that is what they did. It caused an uproar among other things, but they were technically not doing anything wrong XD

Among other things, the teacher was labeled as a troll on Encyclopedia Dramatica. I think he was a philosophy teacher anyway.

Yeah I hear yah on the page expiration, that would happen often for me too, especially with like five resources pulled up at the same time.

Ooooo on a side note, it is fun doing last minute essays amirite? XD

LOL i have done that several times out of boredom. i'll look up Jim Carry and then press random page and it will take me like 5 minutes to find it again.

There is no time like the last minute to do essays. 8)

Haha it's horrible of me but I've always worked much better under pressure so I almost always just leave things to the last minute. It just doesn't seem important enough until then.

I did my geography coursework the day before it was due in, and managed to get an A on it. I was exhausted after though- 11 hours of solid work turned my brain to jelly. XD

Ugh, reminds me of one of my math assignments from last term--I started it the night before it was due around 5PM and literally finished it, standing right next to the drop box, at 8:16am--it was due at 8:20am. Hah, I kinda miss those all-nighters.

woah; that was lucky.

When I'm doing homework/essays I normally have the tv on. Which I'm sure doesn't do my work any good.
