I came up with this poem this morning. Try to figure out what it means!
The poem is called "The Diamond in the Circle", and here it is:

    "The diamond
    transfixed within the circle
    so feared its prison
    that it spread its points
    to the edges of
    the never ending band
    for comfort."

So take a stab at it! It really is not that deep, but I told it to some people that didn't get it at all. Maybe you will get it!

Gah, I hate riddles. XD Well, this poem was cool! I didn't understand a word of it, but it was awsome. ^^

OK, I'll take a wild guess. XD To me, this poem is almost like saying for someone to break out of the prison they're being held in. Whether you're in a bind with family, trapped within yourself, or anything.

It's kind of saying to be strong and never let go, keep reaching out until you break free of your confinement. ^^

Well, I took a pretty good guess, if I may say so. XD Whether I'm right or wrong, it was a neat poem, deathbyalice. ^^

Hmm.. >_@ Hard!! XD But good.... A circle is never-ending right? So I think that maybe the diamond was 'locked' in the cirle, it's prison... Hmm... xD I'm wrong... totally off-kilter... But anyways, good poem!! ^__^ ~origin

Love the poem. Like Kelsey and Origin said, it seems like they are trying to escape something. Like a person with an awesome talent trying to escape the binds that keep them from reaching their full potential. Great job! ^_~

Okay, the not deep part of it is a square inscribed in a circle, like all the stuff from geometry classes you must have taken,

but yes, you guys did get the deeper meaning of it, that I though you would think right away, even though that was not really what I was looking for, but good job guys!

Well, yay!! *hugs* I got it right, kinda? Oh well.. I think I got a little part of it... @__@ xD;; ~origin

a part of it, I guess the "not-so-deeper" part of the meaning to it, though you know...lol.

XD Awwwwwwwws, so close and yet so far away. XD Well, it's an awsome yet confuing poem either way. ^^; Great job on it nonetheless. ^o^
