So, as the title states, this is the Different Category/Form Challenge! I had a hard time coming up with a name for this challenge, but I think this one works just as good as any other.

Here are the rules. Read them carefully and make sure you understand all of them before you sign up.

    Rules:
    1. You must build a team consisting of at least 3 of the following: A Basic Pokemon, a 1st Stage Pokemon, a 2nd Stage Pokemon, a Pokemon that does not have an Evolution Line, a Pokemon that is only obtainable by elemental stone induced evolution, and finally, a Pokemon that is only obtainable by Trade induced evolution.
    2. As stated, you must have at least 3 Pokemon. In other words your party can consist of 3, 4, 5 or 6 Pokemon that fit the above description.
    3. If you decide not to carry 6 Pokemon, you can arrange your party however you like. There are two exceptions to this rule. You must carry a basic Pokemon and a Pokemon that does not evolve. For example, if you decide to raise a team of 5 Pokemon, you must carry a Basic Pokemon and a Pokemon that doesn't evolve, but the other 3 can fit one of the other 4 categories. You could miss out whichever of those 4 you like. You might not be able to obtain a Pokemon evolved by trade, so you could go for the other 3 categories instead.
    4. If you choose to raise a 1st Stage Pokemon as part of your team, it must be a 1st Stage Pokemon that is able to evolve into a 2nd Stage Pokemon. But, in accordance with Rule 1, you wouldn't be allowed to evolve it. If you did, this would count as your 2nd Stage Pokemon.
    5. Pokemon like Vileplume Victreebel, and Poliwrath (in other words, Pokemon that are both Stone Induced and 2nd Stage Pokemon) count as 2nd Stage Pokemon, not Stone Induced Evo's. Stone Induced Evo's that would count in this challenge are Pokemon such as Raichu, Staryu, Arcanine etc.
    6. The challenge ends when you defeat the E4 (or, in the case of GSC/HGSS, once you've beaten Red).
    7. No hacking is allowed. Trading to get the Pokemon you want is allowed, but only if it fits one of the categories.
    8. You cannot use 2 Pokemon of the same category. Only 1 of each is allowed.
    9. Legendaries cannot be used as part of your team.
    10. This is not a race. Have fun!
    The most important Rules are 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 8!

And that's it for the rules. Sorry that they come across as essay like, but it's important you get the details of the challenge right and don't unintentionally break the rules.
