I very much want to be a member while I'm here...
I want Blaziken as my partner.

About the 5th gen fighters: If we know them now, why not discuss them?
I'm sure when the games come out, we will find all sort of new stuff about them we could talk about... Like their pokedex data, how they helped us in the game, their English names, etc.

About Fighting's psychic & Flying type weakness:
Part of the martial arts is training the mind as well the body, so I don't understand the Psychic weakness... if anything, they should take HALF damage from psychic moves! (Altough, some pokemon, like Primeape, I can understand being mentally weak...)
I figured they were weak to flying moves because they are grounded, therefore, giving flying pokemon a tantical advantage.

OK Stoney, you're in!
I'll add you right away.
And sure you can have Blaziken as your sparing partner!

Well it's pretty darn obvious isn't it:

All of the fighting types have evo's apart from this poor fellow </3

Yeah, but Heracross is too epic for an evo. He rolls solo! :D

NO WAY!!!
This dude is already a powerhouse!
Giving it a evo would make it UBER!!!
(Believe me, I study the competitive side of pokemon as a hobby, so I know!)

Not to mention that it's overused, and for a reason!
IMO, Mankey coud really use an evolution! His stats are "meh", and he has a potential to make a great Pokemon!

0_O Mankey has Primeape or do you mean a branched evo? IMO they are fine how they are any new evo's would be unnecessary

LOL, Sorry about that, I meant Primeape! *facepalm*

Draggy, may we have some sort of voting poll? Like maybe we could have a go at bcreating a fighting type move?

Hmmmm draggy, are you having a bit of trouble organizing the club???oz I will help you if necassary....

Thanks Tribal, but for now, the club is "small enough" so I can handle it...
And what kind of poll did you have in mind?

I would like to join with my sparring partner being Infernape

OK Reshiram, but please try to be active!

OK, guys new topic for ya:
Which fighting type Pokémon (excluding Machamp) could lift the heaviest weight?

hmm excluding Machamp? Well I think I'll have to go with Machoke then :D I believe the Machop line is built for lifting. second to the Machop family I would say Hariyama and then Toxicroak.

I think Poliwrath would do well in lifting a weight if he takes his boxing gloves off.

I considered both Poliwrath and Primape but question is can the grasp something what with their hands being gloves I considered 3 feats Lift a Bar Bell, an Cube and a boulder (I know I'm over thinking it but. meh.) I do not think they could lift the Cube or the boulder thus they were eliminated from my choices.

Well IMO, it would be either Heracross, Haryama, or Infernape! If I remember corectly, those guys did some pretty heavy lifting in the anime...

I think that Infernape could lift the heaviest weight!
