[*]For gym leaders, at least 3 pokemon must be the same type as your chosen dog. Gym leaders cannot use legendary Dogs.
[*]The E4 Will each have 1 Legendary Dog, and 1 other dog. The rest of their types can be chosen as pleased.
[*]The champion must have 3 Dogs. The rest can be chosen at will.

I have thought of this. Yes, there are 3 normal Dogs available, but when 1 is chosen, I will take the rest out. That's why Mightyena isn't on that list. Someone already chose Absol, so the Dark dog pokemon can't be chosen. =)
Who in their right mind would choose absol?!?
