Nat sat back on the fountain, tossing her staff from side to side. It glowed brightly with each time it hit her hands. She slashed the air angrilly, sending a beam of light between Cal and Crimson.
"I can't believe him!" she muttered angrilly. "How dare he say that! He doesn't know anything, he doesn't want to take the time to understand me! All he wants is to be difficult!" she muttered, another Beam of light escaping the staff, this time narrowly missing Jack.
"Hey!" he cried. "Nat, you gotta let this go or you're going to hurt someone with that staff," he warned.
"I don't care, Jack!" she yelled. "You don't understand me either!" she yelled angrilly, taking off into the sunset.
She stopped a few blocks away, noticing all the gun shops. She realized how stupid she was being about all of this. She looked at the ferret-like Dragon that had perched on her shoulder again.
"I'm sorry, Cal. I'm just so confused..." she said, a tear streaking down her already sopping cheek.
Please don't cry, love. If he thinks this way, he isn't worth your time! Cal's mindvoice spoke to Nat.
That's where you're wrong. He is worth my time. I have to get him to understand... I have to! she spoke back.
She spotted Matt in one of the many gun shops, and entered it quietly.
"Whatcha doing?" she asked timidly, scuffing her foot.
