    This is my first post on this site and I wanted to make it something that could easily get a lot of talk going.

    So, without further adieu I welcome you to Dreamboat Dixon's record shack! What is that I hear you ask? Well young padowan, the record shack is a place of wonder.

    What outstanding achievements have you accomplished in your game?
    Have you ever beaten Palmer? or any of the frontier brains? If you have, how far did you get in the battle (_____) before meeting your proverbial maker?
    What's the fastest you've ever beaten your game?
    Do you have any shinies? How many and how did you catch them?
    What's your strongest Pokémon?
    How many contests have you won? Have you ever beaten Master rank?
    If you have Heart Gold or Soul Silver, what are your best Pokéathlon records?
    If you battle with your friends, what's the most times you've beaten them in a row?
    Anything you're proud of, anything you've ever done in your games (DPPtHGSS) that you think deserves a mention and a brag. That's what the Record Shack is for.

    So come one, come all! Share your experiences, compare your bests and set new goals!
     
    Nice. I used to think she was the hardest gym leader. I'd always start with Cyndaquil and her Miltank would just own it everytime :/ lol
     
    yeah, the only reason I won was because I used curse with ghastly, it got KOed, switched out to bayleedf used poison powder, used razor leaf alot, I think I healed when neccessary, or it may have never been neccessary, i can't remember. the poison and curse eventually managed to kill it off. that miltank is tough, especially if you are using male pokes
     
    Have you completed the game (beaten the league) yet or are you still playing through?
     
    I haven't collected my extremespeed Dratini yet cus I want a good one! lol Jynx will help out loads against Lance
     
    I completed the National Pokedex in Diamond. And I got the silver prints in all the battle factory. Palmer was soooo hard, because I was doing a challenge where I could only use one type (I used Ground) and have 3 pokemon of different generations on my team, so I had a Rhydon, Torterra, and Claydol. I finally beat the Milotic when I trained my Claydol up to level 80-something and taught it Explosion. Then I went through the entire first 20 battles with a Choice Band, even though he had Ice Beam, Ancient Power, and Psychic as his other attacks. Unfortunately for me, he is/was my best battler, so it was harder to kill his other pokemon.
     
    That is quite the challenge! I find Palmer quite hit and miss, I've never tried a Mono-type team though. My best display against him is that he just cannot seem to beat my Toxicroak! lol I've 4 - 0'd Palmer with Toxicroak, only Toxicroak. Though now I'm scared to take Toxicroak back, cus I don't want his streak to end!

    If you put off evolving Weavile for a bit it learns Ice Shard. But other than that it doesn't really learn anything useful itself.
     
    Jynx is still pretty fast and strong. An Ice Beam and I can't imagine any of his Dragonites surviving!
     
    That should work pretty well. Has your Mother bought you a choice scarf in game yet? Because if she has, that would be really useful for all three Dragonite. It limits you to using only the one move (I'd recommend Ice Beam over Blizzard if you're gonna be locked) but it'll make you faster than his Dragonites
     
    Yeah, you can. I don't know though, Dragonite have base 80 Speed, while Jynx has 95 Base. I'd go with like the Choice Specs instead.

    God, Whitney was a huge pain in the behind. I won only because of sheer luck (my Croconaw, Lvl 23 at the time) was able to freeze her Miltank with Ice Fang.

    Now for an awesome experience to share. This one event happened 20 minutes ago. I was building my Pokedex (basically just evolving low-level Pokemon via Exp. Share). I was trying to evolve a Zubat, which was holding the Exp. Share. The Pokemon I was using for actual battling was my faithful Noctowl (Lvl 43). As I'm walking through the tall grass on Route 45, Entei suddenly pops out of nowhere. I whittled its HP down to red and used Hypnosis. Then I threw a Great Ball by accident (I was trying to click on an Ultra Ball). Needless to say, I caught it anyway. It's a little sad though, because I don't use legendaries in battle. Still, it was a memorable experience.
