    In Black 2 & White 2, there was a sidequest where you found a lost Xtransciever in Nimbasa City and you have a lot of calls with the owner, Yancy (if you're a male player) or Curtis (if you're female). The quest eventually ends in Yancy/Curtis trading some rare Pokemon with their hidden abilities to you.

    Did you ever complete the sidequest? Which of the HA Pokemon trades did you like the best? What do you think of Yancy and Curtis as characters?

    I though it was quite in interesting concept, becoming friends with this person you don't meet for ages (and don't even see for a lot of the time), and having them eventually develop a crush for you was quite a new thing since romance involving the player wasn't really done before. And finding out that this person was some sort of celebrity was quite a twist.

    Trading for the HA pokemon was quite cool too. There was a decent amount of variety and the items were good too, a nice way to gather rare candies. Although I found soft resetting to get the female HA pokemon was tedious. With quite a few having the 7:1 male to female ratio already taking a while to get, you had to take the ferris wheel ride every time (which you couldn't skip or speed up) I remember spending hours trying to get the female togepi. One other thing I disliked was the fact that the players gender affected the pokemon you get (the shellos, and the sinnoh fossil) I know it's not much but it's the only way of getting each form of shellos in gen V, and if I recall it's the first time a players gender effects something other than dialogue.

    Apart from that it was cool, and was yet another thing to do in black2 white2's post game

    I found that the only annoying part, but I didn't mind the fact female players got East Sea Shellos because it is my fave form of Shellos anyway. I do remember some other gender-exclusives from the trade were Meowth/Mankey, Teddiursa/Phanpy and Mawile/Sableye, but other than that it's not much.

    My faves from the HA Pokemon were Prankster Sableye (which is one of the female player exclusives), Contrary Spinda, Defiant Mankey (another female exclusive) and Sheer Force Cranidos. If you ask me, I'd say that female players got the better end of the stick here.

    Ah yes, I forgot about those. Although I do prefer west, I'd like to have got east as well.

    Yeah it seems female players did get a good deal. I don't mind playing as a female character, I just don't think that whichever gender you choose to play as should affect anything really so it kinda annoyed me a little bit. In ORAS the cosplay pikachu given to you was affected by gender (Rock Star for male, Pop Star for female) but at least you could change them to each other regardless.

    I think it annoys me more because I had to buy white2 again, because I'd already completed black2 and white2 both as a male character, and since I keep my original play throughs of each game, I had to buy white2 again and complete as a female character just to get those gender exclusive pokemon (I'm a bit of a completionist) so i payed an extra £25 just for 5 pokemon, but hey, sacrifices must be made I guess {XD}

    My thoughts on the actual quest itself are something I do agree with Purple on, it was interesting talking to someone who you found out owned this lost Xtransceiver and as you kept talking to them you learned a bit more about them and they learned more about you (which is based off what questionnaires you answered in the Passerby Analytics HQ in Castelia City).

    An NPC having a crush on the protagonist was something never seen in Pokemon until this point, but the fact Yancy/Curtis is a TV celeb as well made it even more interesting.
