In a link that Arcanine gave in the Nintendo Gaming Guild they said that Diamond/Pearl was re-confirmed to be released on the DS this year in Japan.

Yes it is, the Pokemon games will be the final nail in th coffin if the PSP doesn't get some good games quick, and I mean real quick. They have some time though, they should all be praying over at Sony.
