The DS

Probably not. It's already cheap as it is, though.
 
You can probably find the old DS cheaper than normal now, since the DS Lite has been released. But I don't even see people selling those as much anymore. o.o If you mean an official price drop, no, I think it would probably have been announced by now if it were going to happen by Christmas.
 
Nothing has been announced in terms of a holiday promotion. However, the price was already lowered last August from $150 USD to $130 USD.

I just ran a quick search on EBGames. A refurbished DS would run you a mere $80.
 
The DS is hasn't droped that much since last christmas, but the has been a drop since the DS lite came out, I gout mine at a really good price on the after christmas sales, but then again, I got lucky. But if you are willing to risk getting it after christmas, that would definatly be the best time to buy. (If its for a christmas presant forget what I just said)
 
the price really dosent need to be dropped. its kinda cheap already.
 
The refurb DS might be $80, but who knows where that thing's been. Imagine someone taking that into the bathroom or something and then trading it in to GS...
*shudders*

There's no way Nintendo would drop the price of the DS. The DS Lite is selling like crazy in Japan, slightly less-so over here, but it's still doing really well. Besides, it's a bargain at $129 with all the great games out for it.
