The End has Finally Come

AquaIsle, the HQ of Sector B, in the middle of the Hydra Sea. Cyril didn't LOVE the water or the ocean, but he didn't really like to build his HQ on top of a white mountain.

"Wait until sector A gets hit by an avalanche." Cyril smirked, his feet on his desk as he sat on his office chair in his own personal working room. It was located underwater, in a shape of a glass cube, connected to the HQ above by a bubble lift, proving Cyril a 360 degree view, horizontally, and vertically.

When a large trout passed by before him, Cyril licked his lips, "Mm-" but quickly focused on his paperwork again. A new grunt was supposed to come today, and the application form seemed pretty good.

Just then the bubble lift door opened and in came a male grunt with a cocktail. Placing it on Cyril's table, he whispered to the Sector Leader's ears, "The grunt today will be arriving pretty soon."

Yawning, Cyril nodded and the grunt left via the lift again. The room was all beautiful and stuff, but those big fish were rather distracting him, he had to admit, with a little grin on his face. Eager to see who he/she is, Cyril slumped onto his chair, playing his fingers as he waited.

"We can use an extra grunt.
Rewtash City is almost ours, so every grunt counts." Cyril smirked.

Rose sighed as she finally arrived in sector B. Today was the day she was to join Team Vortex and she couldn't be more excited. She had been told that when she reached the HQ she was to report to the Leader Cyril's office. Brushing her jet black hair out of her face as she got in the lift she couldn't help but admire all the fish she saw. Hopefully this goes well she thought to herself as the lift reached the office and she entered. She walked up to his desk looking at her with her rose colored eyes and prayed she made a good first impression as she looked at the leader sitting at his desk and waited for him to address her.

The grunt finally entered, and Cyril sat straight, trying to give the grunt a good impression. He was a little surprised, nobody told him that the grunt was female, since the application didn't really require that little info, and there weren't many female grunts in the sector, they were mostly male.

But Cyril didn't have any gender discrimination. Smiling as she sat down, Cyril read her application.

"Tiffany, is it?" Cyril glanced at the application, then back at her, "Welcome to sector B. Tell me about yourself. What do you expect to see in the sector? And what do you wish to achieve? Etc. Introduce yourself, because the application can't cover everything."

Rose crossed her arms eyes narrowed. "My name's Rose" she stated bluntly. "I joined Team Vortex because I want to cause pain to those who tormented me." She looked at the man in front of her "I hope to see that everyone here actually knows how to handle things." she added. "Though the application says Tiffany I go by Rose, I can't stand the name Tiffany" she clarified. She then looked around the office seeing it seemed to entirely made of glass. Not to bad of an office. Wonder why it's underwater? she thought smiling softly as she looked at Cyril.

Cyril raised an eyebrow, a half grin, half smirk on his face, "I like that attitude. But the application form has Tiffany on it, but then, if you really want me to call you Rose, then fine. Seems that you have a rather unlucky life there. I feel anger and hatred in those words of yours. Well you've come to the right place, Rose."

Cyril then placed the application form away to observe her actions. He noticed her blood red eyes and whistled, hiding a little blush "You have unique eyes there. But back to business. What is your goal after you've joined Sector B?"

Cyril then looked at her bag, "I'll give you two grunt pokemon, but you have to have the other two. If you have it right now, please, let me see it."

Standing on a cliff face at the edge of Volcova, Lexi breathed in the sea air. Her hair whipped around her face as she stood with her arms outstretched, allowing the warm breeze to billow through her jacket. She was glad that it was always warm here; she got cold far too easily.
Barking was coming from the town behind the cliff, breaking Lexi's reverie. She turned and smiled as an orange dog-like creature bounded towards her, barking happily as it came. Lexi crouched on one knee in order to embrace the Growlithe.
"Come here!" She chuckled, picking him up and holding him behind crossed arms. She turned and faced the ocean again, pointing to a blip on the horizon.
"See that? Mt. Igna? We're gonna make it there. We'll train there, and become the strongest team that Azoraze has seen. You up for that?"
Growlithe turned and licked Lexi's nose. She chuckled again, ruffling his fur before allowing him to jump to the ground.

The two of them walked side by side into the heart of Volcova, where Lexi's mother was waiting, arms outstretched. The green eyes she had passed on to her daughter sparkled with tears, and her voice broke when she started to talk.
"Your dad is on business, he couldn't come to say goodbye. Ring him when you get a chance."
"Mum! There's no need to get upset, We can manage! I--" Before Lexi could finish her sentence, she had been smothered by the arms of her mother, who seemed unaware of her daughter's struggle for air. Without another word, she handed Lexi a bag, a Pokegear and a pack of Pokeballs. She embraced her one last time, apparently unable to talk, before patting Growlithe on the head and returning inside.
Lexi shook her head incredulously. "Bye then!" She yelled after her, before smiling down at Growlithe's shaggy head.
"Time to blow this joint! ...Forget I said that, pretend it was something much cooler."
Growlithe bounded off, his tan and orange fur catching the sunlight as he ran.
"Hey! Wait!"
And with that, Lexi broke into a run, her jacket billowing out like a cape around her.

Rose nodded. "Thank you boss" she said hiding a blush when he complemented her eyes. She thought for a minute. "As of right now I'm not sure of my goals after joining Sector B other than making a name for myself" she said.

When he mentioned Pokemon she nodded "I currently have two Pokemon with me. A Pachirisu and a Ninetails" she said calling out the two Pokemon. The small regular colored Pachirisu and the elegant looking shiny Ninetails.

"I'd heard we recieve two Pokemon may I ask what they are?" she asked

Flying over the Azoraze region on a blue bird with wings made to look like cottony clouds proved to be quite exhilarating for Grey, but that wasn't surprising since his Altaria, Nimbus could carry out amazing feats in the air. With its white feathery wings, it soared high above Sipis Town more than 3,000 feet in the air. Grey wasn't afraid, as he had complete trust in the Pokemon he had trained for more than 3 years. The real problem was Ralts, Grey's new companion and the child of his other Pokemon, a Gardevoir named Psyche. The psychic Pokemon was holding on tightly to one of Nimbus' head feathers.

Ralts had been with Grey for around 3 months now, and is a bit more experienced in battle compared to other 'baby' Pokemon. Grey had taught it a special move that Ralts' mother could execute perfectly. Ralts though, is still working on it. She was quite a nervous Pokemon. Grey was still thinking of a proper nickname for her.

The ground drew closer as Nimbus flew lower and lower after an exhausting flight from Evergreen Town far off into the north. Grey could make out fault lines and craggy, mountainous terrain under him, and he soon caught sight of a small village, Sipis Town. A few trainers were having a race of sorts, with one getting tackled by a Treecko. They were headed to a large field.

Nimbus landed on a large rock sticking out of the ground, roughly 8 feet high. Humming in a soft voice, the Pokemon gently let Grey down with Ralts perched on his shoulder, shaking from the flight.

"Great job, Nimbus. You go ahead and rest up there and just fly back to mom when you're ready. She needs you for another courier assignment." Grey said, patting Nimbus' head.

The Pokemon gave a weary sigh and hummed a beautiful song before taking off. Apparently, it didn't need any rest.

"Raalts", Ralts tugged at Grey's collar and pointed to a Pokemon battle going on in the vast plains they saw earlier while flying.

"Seems like a good place to start." Grey shrugged as he and Ralts took their first few steps in the strange Azoraze region. "If there's one thing I'm good at, it's Pokemon Battles." he grinned.

Azulia woke up from her afternoon beauty nap. She flashed a look at the gold-framed clock positioned at the ceiling beam. 1pm, and I've heard that Sector B has a new addition. Time to be nosy, Azulia. She chuckled to herself at this secret joke shared between her mind and her body. She put on her grey mink which had taken a blue-purple overshade recently. Something's wrong with the washing, must be. Azulia sighed inwards as she strolled out of the heart of the palatial HQ.

She nodded curtly to her subjects, highly-qualified and well-chosen elite assistants who helped her in every possible way she needed. not that she was helpless but sometimes it felt good to know that someone needed you. She halted at the end as a young male grunt moved past her. He stopped and bowed his head in respect. She stared at him from tip to toe, scrutinizingly. Then unexpectedly, she said, "Very well. Do us Sector A proud young man." With that she left the puzzled grunt with a dry smile as she brisked to her office. She pushed open the large doors and sauntered to her desk, acknowledging the presence of her sector. A male grunt ushered her to her seat, as though as if she didn't know how to do so. Azulia sat down and checked her long desk to make sure everything was picture-perfect before commenting to the grunt, "Get a shave, or else I'll do it for you." The grunt stammered a reply and shuffled away.

"Morgana!" Azulia's high voice rang above the bustle of activity within the motherboard.

"Coming, coming, my lady." A 31 year old woman scurried in from a separate office right next to her. Azulia bent forward to whisper into Morgana's ear.

"Check the progress on the operation at Kradow Town, we must ensure that the people there are on our side." Morgana reported primly, "The gym leader seemed quite the hermit type, he has been avoiding our advances to the town and himself. We might have to work out something different from diplomacy, milady."

Azulia absorbed the report like a sponge and thought briefly.

"Very well then. Keep a lookout on Blake Enjin, we don't know whether he's against the Vortex or not." Morgana and Azulia shared a friendly hug before the lady left. Azulia then proceeded to dial up Sector B's Cyril for a little leisurely chatter and gossip. The phone line sounded a dial tone and Azulia waited, slightly impatient.

Cyril beamed as she called him Boss. She knew what to say, smart girl. But Cyril wondered when she said she wanted a real name. Guess Tiffany wasn't really her real name, and she wanted a real one. It wasn't too hard to achieve, just make one up, but Cyril was certain that it was more than that.

That wasn't really a real goal, but that counted.

Cyril smiled as she showed her pokemon, "Nice pokemon you have there. I'm sure they'll get along fine with my grunt pokemon."

Cyril reached for his drawer and took out two pokeballs, handing them to her, "You'll have a Zorua, and a Dratini, which will be evolved into Zoroark and Dragonite if you can take care of them well."

Allan took the Pokeball from the ground. He had finally caught his own Pokemon and he was very proud of himself. He started back to Town when he heard a low buzzing sound. It grew louder and then softer and then, the drone completely stopped. Allan wondered if it had been his imagination, but that thought was passed on when all the light around him disappeared. It was pitch black for maybe 10 seconds, then it was light again. The Earth started shaking, but it was unusually large, even for Sipis Town. He wen tback to go investigate what had happened. He sent out Budew so he wouldn't seem so alone in the lonely Plains. There were no Pokemon in sight, and no life either. No plants, little bugs, and even stranger, no wind. It was as if the life from here had been drained. He continued forward until he found a circle of trees and heard a whispered conversation. Allan listened for clues on what had happened behind tree.

"Sector A is going to be proud with our work." One man spoke. Allan carefully looked to see two men in strange costumes, green and black. There was a V printed on both of them and they seemed serious in what they were doing. Allan had to get out of there when he heard a growl. He turned to see an Absol, belonging to them, in front of him. It was drooling and its eyes were reddish purple. It's claws were huge and it's face a night black, not regular blue. It was no ordinary Absol, it was more angry and hateful.

"You cannot forgot what you have heard, so we must take you to our HQ. Absol use Razor Wind!"

The Absol followed his order and then used a Slash attack. Allan pushed Budew out of the way, and the Budew responded by sending out a Stun Spore. The Absol was paralyzed, but still raring to go. Run Budew! Allan sent out Sandile, "Use Sand Attack!" to furthur slow down Absol. Then he grabbed his two Pokemon and ran back to the town.

************************************************************
"No way! Are you okay?! We shouldn't have split up! Ugh, this is all my fault."

"Mable, calm down, I'm okay." Allan had told his friends about his encounter with the angry Absol.

"They won't attack us now, there were only two of them, they can't take down a whole village of trainers" Winston said calmly.

"Okay..you're right Winston, let's relax. So Allan, how about a battle? I already crushed Winston with my Finneon."

"Hey! My Trapinch was at a disadvantage!"

Alex sighed, "Sure Mable, I'll battle," and just like that, the encounter was forgotten by all except Chris.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
The tired Finneon used its Rain Dance to boost its Water attacks, then hurled two Water Guns at the Sandile. The poor Desert Croc didn't stand a chance and was hurled away but the powerful torrent. Mable ultimately won, and the trio focused on heading to Diwnorth City.

Rose smiled taking the Pokeballs "Thank you sir, they'll make a great addition to my team and I'll take good care of them" she said calling out the two new Pokemon and watching as the Pokemon met each other.

She then turned back to Cyril "Now boss, anything else I need to know or be aware of?" she asked with a smile. She couldn't deny that he was cute but had been told when applying for the team that attraction between a grunt and her superior wasn't allowed.

Rose smiled at him, her smile actually melting Cyril's heart a little, but Cyril quickly shook it away as she asked the question. Thinking for a while, Cyril answered with a smile on his face, trying his best not to show his red cheeks.

"Even though Sector A's our ally sector, we're having a little 'competition' so if you see grunts in that sector here, report to me right now. And since you're still new, I won't give you missions in these few days."

"This is the key to your grunt hut." Cyril handed her a little key, "You'll be living by yourself in that hut, and do whatever you want in it. It's right outside the HQ, and it's fully air-conditioned, with a large bed and basic needs. There's wi-fi too. Please don't mind the hawaii style huts - they're made out of straw, but it workds too. Plus I love the beach. You can go there somtimes. That's all for now Rose, i have your phone number, you've written it in the app form, so i'll call you when I need you."

Suddenly Cyril's iPhone rang and Cyril pulled it out of his pocket. He stared at the screen - Azulia. Azulia? She was the leader of sector A, the leader who geniusly built her HQ BEHIND the avalanche Zone. Grunts working that probably had to climb all the way up everyday, and Snow wasn't Cyril's favourite.

Anyway, he frowned placed it against his ears, "What is it Azulia?"

"What is it Azulia?" A usual grouchy voice answered the call. Well, she didn't expect to dial up the Mister Unhappy.

"Well, I justed wanted to check in on the newbie," She replied firmly. "You know, I'm always curious to see how my competitor goes." She coughed for a grunt to bring her a cup of tea.

"You know, you might wanna construct an elevator extension, if not the grunts might have to SWIM out of HQ." She stifled a laugh.

"By the way, how's Rewtash City? My people complained that the citizens are such a bore." Azulia went on about Rewtash for a while. Before she left Cyril to finally get a chance to speak, she left a last note, "Oh and if you were wondering, there ARE no avalanches in Frost Mountain, everyone knows that. My grunts travel up and down the mountain via the elevation transporter tube or by driving those snow-rovers or whatever you call them vehicles." Her voice had an undertone of matter of fact.

She muffled a yawn into her mink; she had been restless these few days, there was not much action at Kradow or Nopiso. However, her informative agent-grunts had collected that a handful of rookie Trainers coming to this region of Azoraze. She might decide to drop by to introduce herself and Sector A and a hint of Vortex to those munch-kins. It wouldn't hurt to scare them out of their skin. It would also provide a chance to train the Panpour she caught, then her
arsenal would have another inventory add. She heard that monkeys were great for tasking missions, Panpours were a must.

(OOC: Aura Rift - You can only use one stylus Pokemon.

Before they left to go, Allan realized he must have dropped his phone. He ran back to get it, and told his friends to wait. There, at the plains, he saw a beautiful blue bird drop onto the ground. It landed as gentle as it appeared. It had gentle cloud-like wings, and sleek, perfectly cut feathers. He approached the creature, barely noticing the trainer that had dismounted it.

"Hi, I'm Allan, I'm a trainer heading off to Diwnorth City."

"What's the holdup Allan?!" Mable came trudging from behind him but stopped at the sight of the Pokemon. "Who's this?"

"Yeah, who is this Allan?" asked Winston.

They waited for a response.

(Yes finnaly started :) also quick question, if a pokemon ranger catches a pokemon with his/her styler then is he/she allowed to use that pokemon in a gym battle and then release it?)

Josh woke up and yawned so loud he managed to wake his Mother up aswell.

"JOOOOOOSSSSSHHHH!" His mother cried. "KEEP IT DOWN"

Josh cringed.

"Sorry Mom..." Josh whimpered.

Josh went over to the bunk bed at the corner of his room where his pokemon slept, he didnt like to keep them in their pokeballs unless it was absolutely necesary.

"Riolu, Pichu? This the big day, today we take on four of the rgions eight gyms so that I can become a full pokemon sniper...Guys?....Hello?......GET UP!!!" Josh cried.

Pichu panicked and used spark as it awoke, knocking Josh over and waking up Riolu at the same time.

Josh stood up hair standing on end.

"Can...Can we just go? Please?" Josh asked facepalming himself.

Pichu and Riolu smiled at one another, and then took their usual positions, Pichu in his rucksack and peeking his head out of the top and Riolu sitting on his shoulder his paw on the back of his head for balance.

***

It was a beautiful day in Kradow town, Josh looked up at the sky, it was clear not a single cloud in sight which was unusual for a town where you'd have to be very lucky to get more than a couple of patches of sky on a good day. Pichu upon seeing this was exstatic and hopped out of his rucksack and did a little dance running around in circles and jumping around until he was all tuckered out and colapsed from exhaustion.

"Silly little Pichu, cmon take this." Josh said holding out an oran berry to Pichu, who ate it in one bite and climbed back into his rucksack.

Josh approached the Kradow gym with a lump in his throat, he could feel Riolu shivering slightly on his shoulder, he stroked his fur to calm him down.

"Alright lets do this."

"Whoa, awkward moment." Grey said as three trainers looked at him, waiting for a name.

"Well?" One of the trainers asked. They seem to be mesmerized by Nimbus' song. The large bird Pokemon hummed happily as it rested with one of the trainers rubbing her head playfully.

"Grey Akazi from the Hora region. Pokemon trainer and inventor." Grey replied, holding out a hand to one of the trainers. The one with a hat, Allan stepped forward and shook it firmly. "Your names?" Grey turned to the other two, who introduced themselves as well.

Grey thought this was a good time to ask about that city Allan mentioned. It would be nice to have a local guide of sorts.

Allan was about to talk when Winston sped in.

"Winston, Winston Nakronus. This is Allan Perrim and this is Maple Syrup."

Mable smacked Winston, "I'm Mable...Maple Syrim."

Allan got his turn to talk, "Yeah, we're on our way to Diwnorth City, the Aerial Acropolis. If you're a trainer, then you'll want to go there, there's a gym. The first one on your way through this region."

Mable flashed her eyes through her silver hair, "That's where we are going right now. Is this your only Pokemon?"

The three trainers sent out their Pokemon, a collection of Budew, Sandile, Spoink, Trapinch, Trrecko, and Finneon. Winston spoke this time, "We plan to split up once we get to Diwnorth town and meet up every now and then."

"Is the Hora region far? I"d imagine so." Mable spoke up.

"Enough. Stop bombarding the poor man with questions. Do you wanna come with?"

(OOC:Wow i got a lot of catching up to do)

AJ stood at the exit of Pinchug town just staring on the route ahead of him. He looked nervous but there was no way he would turn back now, he turned and looked to both sides of him and saw his good friends William and Catherine. They were his support. They all held hands and took the first step together with the Pinchug gym leader looking at them proudly as they make their first steps in becoming pokemon trainers.

"First things first were to guys" Asked William with extreme enthusiasm. William had been best friends for years when AJ got his scyther William went of and wrestled a Pinsir and caught it thats how bad William wanted to be a trainer.

"Well i think we should all catch some pokemon first cause suprisingly there are very few bug types outside of Pinchug and well mostly find flying and grass types." stated Catherine very smartly but AJ had spaced out half way through Catherines speech he was more preoccupied by how pretty she was. AJ had been friends with Catherine since god knows when and from ever since the day they met he always liked her.

"So what you think AJ" William asked and the trio stopped walking.

"Last one to catch a pokemon is a rotten egg" Shouted AJ as he released Scyther from his pokeball and ran off in search of a pokemon to catch.

"You cheater" Shouted William jokingly as he ran in another direction with his Pinsir by his side.

"Well meet back by the tree in an hour" screamed Catherine as we got further and further away.

AJ was tired from all the running and had not even found a pokemon to catch yet. He wandered around some more hoping for some luck.

"Maybe i'll find a shelgon no a wartortle" AJ was thinking out loud about the pokemon he wanted to catch but he knew they were unrealistic choices. As he walked and daydreamed he accidentally bumped into a tiny tree and a little bird pokemon fell out of the tree. AJ took out his pokedex and analysed it.

[PokeCommunity.com] The End has Finally Come

Tailow
Lvl: 16
Moves: Peck, Focus Energy, Quick attack, Wing Attack
Taillow, the Tinyswallow Pokémon. Taillow has a fierce personality, never backing down, even against the most powerful opponents.

AJ got a big smile on his face as he looked on the first pokemon he hoped to catch.

"Ok scyther use Night slash" Ordered AJ as Scyther went about attacking the Tailow who was dazed from the fall and was barely able to fly due to the disorientation. Scyhters blades started glowing purple and Scyther sprinted over to Tailow slices him quickly.

The attack must have woken up Tailow who flew quicly in to the air and descended with both wings glowing white heading towards Scyther at breathtaking speed. Scyther stood his ground waiting for Tailow to get closer.

Scyther was hit dead on but it appeared as if it was planned. A little smirk appeared on AJ's face

"False swipe go!!" Shouted AJ as Scyther slammed down his blades onto Tailow. AJ watched as Tailow crashed straight into the ground and as it tried to get up AJ let out another order.

"Dont stop use Night Slash one more time!!" ordered AJ. Scyther's blades glowed purple again and scyther slashed a the air releasing two purple energy waves hitting Tailow. After the dust had gone Tailow was down for the count.

"Yes!!"Shouted AJ happily as he threw the pokeball towards the pokemon and waited a couple of seconds and to his delight it was caught .

"Good work scyther" Proclaimed AJ as he looked on scyther who returned him a look as if saying it was nothing. AJ picked up the pokeball and ran towards the meeting spot. By time AJ reached he spotted William and Catherine relaxed.

"I guess your last" Laughed William who held up a pokeball releasing his newly caught nuzleaf.

"Well i know Catherine didn't catch anything" Said AJ hoping for the best.

"Sorry AJ your wrong" said Catherine as he tossed her pokeball into the air releasing Rattata. "Isnt he cute" asked Catherine as he snuggled her purple rat.

"Aj sat down to eat with his friends as they told the stories of how they caught there pokemon. AJ knew that this would be the start of a great adventure.

Lexi slowed down as she approached the forest, causing Growlithe the run into her calves. She muttered her apologies, and the two walked side by side into the shelter of the trees. Lexi shivered. It might have been night in here, as no light penetrated the canopy of leaves above her. She wrapped her jacket around her in protest to the sudden drop in temperature, looking down at Growlithe and smiling encouragingly.
They walked in silence, cautious of any movement. Lexi stumbled, her foot caught on a loose tree root. She took a step forward, and a force around her ankle constricted. Lexi panicked and squirmed, as vines surrounded her waist and arms. She let out a muffled yell, her heart thumping furiously against the vines which had now constricted her entire body. Through the strips of green she saw Growlithe, panicked and barking furiously.
"Growlithe! Flame Wheel!" She yelled, as clearly as she could. Flames erupted from the Pokemon's body, forming a ring in the air. He growled as if commanding the flames, which shot themselves towards the source of the vines, which Lexi couldn't see.
The pressure around Lexi's thorax relaxed, and she breathed in deeply, air filling her lungs. She was free, but she stayed where she stood, before crumbling to the floor, panting heavily, tears rolling down her face.

"Who's there?" A teenage boy in green shorts jumped down from the tree which Lexi sat against, landing directly in front of her. Lexi started, barely stifling a scream.
"Lexi? Is that you? What's wrong?" The boy inquired, his blue eyes swimming with concern.
"I'm fine, Jack." Lexi mumbled, blushing furiously. She clambered to her feet, discreetly wiping her eyes.
"You ought to be careful, Lex. This place is filled with Weepingbell." He patted her on the shoulder consolingly, but decided not to push the matter any further.
"You're leaving today are you? Caught any new Pokemon yet?"
Lexi looked at him with raised eyebrows. She'd just left.
"No, I was too busy getting attacked by an overgrown plant!" She exclaimed, a hint of laughter in her voice. "What are you doing here?"
"Mankers and I are berry hunting. We're just about done I think." As he said it, a Mankey dropped out of the tree and landed on his shoulder, his hands filled with orans. "So, what're you looking to catch first?"
"Nothing with vines." Lexi replied, and the two laughed. "I'm thinking a flying or psychic type. Something to beat that Mankey of yours." She poked out her tongue, and the two made their way through the forest.

"I'll help you if you like," Jack proposed after they'd been walking for several minutes. "Y'know, to catch one."
Lexi giggled. "Thanks, but I can manage. Anyway, you'd get me Pokemon that you think you could beat easily!"
"...Yeah you got me there. But still, we might as well travel together. At least until you can protect yourself from scary old grass-types." He ducked out of the way as Lexi raised her hand to hit him across the head.
"Shut up, what was your contribution to my freedom? Me and Growlithe will do fine on our own, but I could certainly do with some training battles. I'll catch a new Pokemon and we can have a two on two."
"That sounds reasonable. Meet you back here when you've caught one. Me and Mankey have got some preparing to do!" Jack said, karate chopping the air.
"True. You'll need all the preparation you can get!" Lexi yelled as ran towards the long grass, careful to look for any vines that moved of their own accord.
