They predicted the fall of the roman empire, Pompeii, the beginning of the US, the fall of the twin towers,teh frist two world wars. All of that. And they predict the end of the world will be december 24, 2012. Or somewhere like that. I learned this from my World Cultures teacher.

Stupid calender? No ofeeense, but some people might get mad by you saying that is it's part of some mayian belifs...I think.

yeah the mayan calender didn't predict any of that. It also didn't set 2012 as the date of our demise it merely stops at december 2012. It doesn't say anything about the date it just stops, now the way people interpret it is a mesage of doom. But it could just as easily mean that they decided to stop it there or another event is happening on that date. The mayans didnt predict any worldy events, their calender was an astronomical synopsis, they predicted comets eclipses and the such. wherever you got this information, yeah it wasn't even close to being right.
 
Lets get real people. The truth is, that the object will be at the very least, 300 miles away from the Exosphere, so just give up on this.

I think this gives me a reason to skip school. Or...At least go to school and tell this chick I love her, because the world is ending, and it won`t matter...okay...I`ll skip. Just to be safe. Wait...Is the 27th a school day? What`s today? HOLD ON!!!

Cool. 27th is a Monday. I am SO skipping.

Well didn't happen the meteor pased about million miles from Eath's crush, that means from the land to the space, measuring like that 1 millio miles is not that much, I guess we were lucky, and that's it, isnt it?
