I think a combo between Pocchama and some grass Pokemon would suit her. Pocchama because it's cute and another because Erika just <3 grass Pokemon.

I think Erika could have Naetle (Grass Starter) or Rozuerido (Roselia Evolution). Also, I think Beequeen could be a nice Pokémon for her as well.
 
Yeah since the names are too hard to pronouce, yeah they make a great combonation =3
So what's next to talk about Erika?

Umms a gym leader...I think she would get along with whoever was from her kanto generation because they were teh first gym leaders so they stck together I think.
