In a lot of Japanese manga - the characters make homemade chocolate - has anyone here every made homemade chocolate?
 
No, i've never tried to make my own chocolate - it probably costs less to go and buy one!

Best chocolate ice cream eh? Definitely Ben & Jerry's Phish Food ice cream! Lovely chocolate ice cream with caramel and marshmallow swirls and little chocolate fish - heavenly!
 
I have never made my own either.

But I have made homemade brownies, chocolate cake & chocolate chip cookies. YUM.
 
I have never made my own chocolate before... I've seen people make chocolate seafood, though.. =d I think it was on one of those days where you could visit the place where they make them...

Favourite ice cream?
Probably Ben & Jerry's Chunky Monkey. Banana ice cream with walnuts and chocolate banana's. XD

What without chocolate

No, kidding. XD A LOT of good stuff would have gone to waiste. D= I mean, most of the deserts we eat have chocolate in them. DX
 
Favourite Ice Cream
I have absolutely no idea... When I go to an ice cream shop I usually Cookies and Cream or Jaffa.
 
I never made homemade chocolate in my life. I bet it takes time and effort to make it. I did make brownies though. With caramel on top, delicious! =D
 
Yummy chocolate and caramel is heavenly!
I have never made chocolate either, I think it is better and time saving to just buy it from a shop.. =P
 
Yeah, but it'd be good to take a good comparison on what tastes better, homemade chocolate or an average cadbury's bar.

Chunky Monkey eh? I've never seen that in the freezer in the local shop.. sounds nice, although i've never had bannana chocolate.

I heard there is a chilli chocolate now.. yes, you heard me right CHILLI. It looks and sounds disgusting.. *shudders*. Worse than nuts in chocolate XD.
 
can i join? lol, chili chocolate, one time i tried melting chocolate in a microwave, it didn't melt it just turned black and burned

Are you sure? That just sounds aweful. D= Chocolate is supposed to be sweet. =(

Torture, you probably put it in for too long or your microwave was set onto a heat setting which is high enough to burn the chocolate. It happened to me when i wasn't paying much attention (i was making homemade bounties using coconut and normal chocolate, wasn't nice XD) to the microwave. Oh and welcome to the club! *Hands Torture Skull a MASSIVE Toblerone*.
 
You can put it in microwave but to melt it you need to put some water on it or in a bowl with water. You only need a few drops of water but it is vital.
 
Ever left your chocolate some place hot by mistake?
 
I tried to make homemade chocolate once but....lets say it died....^^°
 
OMG, this Toblerone is going too take me forever too eat, I am only up to the R! I have made Homeade Chocolate once, and my mum had some and she was like "Woah Will, you should take this too a restaurant and ask if they want to use it!" So I did, and I got rejected :(

I think sometimes when it comes to making chocolate, we should leave it to the experts..

I once left an easter egg laying around in the sun to long. There was a hole in it when we found it. XD

Yay a Toblerone made out of characters!
For Easter I stash my eggs away and make them last ages, but my brother used to eat my chocolate when I wasn't around...
 
I think one time I didn't have my AC on and I had a chocolate bar(Snickers, I believe), and started to melt. It was by my computer table. Luckily I caught it before it turned to a big mess.
