I believe how it goes is by challenging each gym leader (starting from the first one; list on first page), then when you managed to defeat all 8 gyms, you may take on the E4. At that point, you are the champion. However, I must warn ya; it's not easy to get through everything.

Man I went to eat dinner and lots of stuff happen. GH_god we still have one hour left untill Venks reply, and you don't get the badge untill you battle them since I must see every badge in your sig. Creg electric leader got fired since he sucks, and to anyone who wants to battle wait after shinypoke666 says who's next.
