Actually, that's wrong, Single is the standard battling style, so asking someone to battle that way isn't unfair at all, however, someone asking for a double battle is completely different.
 
lol Ooka, I'm not too good at double battles either. Sure I get some good sprees and mini combos, but I can't match up very well.

Actually having a double battler could be good. Look back at Ruby/Sapphire with the psychic gym. It was the only double battle gym, but it made it look unique. It also tests your power to become the ultimate fighter if you know what I mean.
 
noone should give up because of a rule. they should just try harder and then the victory will be even sweeter
 
Wait, I was considering to get some challenges here, but wait now, you HAVE to follow the gym leader's rules? Even if he/she doesn't include Sleep Clause? Standard Rules?
 
Configuring a single battle team to make it a double battle team is pretty much impossible. So..we have to learn almost an entirely new metagame, IV breed and EV train 6 pokes and get all their moves for 1 battle. Yeah, thats totally awesome.

Don't take me wrong here, I am good at both sides of battling both single and double but are the gym leaders allowed to break the standards?
 
okay my rule is no ubers, you can use legends, and I"ll have to work hard a little more, and try to find a perfect Raikou and other things. I'm a fair person so why shouldn't I let legends fight?
 
yeah and seriously what you guys are doing (criticizing the rules) is just spamming this thread.............

Look I"ll let people use legends, and speedy is not undefeatable. You can beat him, I did while geared only towards a single battle standard, so it's not impossible. Ask Speedy if I beat him for some proof.
 
I go towards my own fad, if I am able to accept his rules, then I'll gladly battle
