yes, i need help with the shading.
when i tryed it with the mudkip i drew, it ended up stupid, so i left out the shading part
 
well nothings exactly stupid, it just might not be the best XD

With the shading, you need to choose a direction the light is coming from, and the shadows'll be on the other side of the light source (i.e. where the light won't reach). I usually have the Pok?mon facing the light source since it's a lot easier to draw the shadows that way. :)

Okay, first question.

I tried to use the burn tool on Gold's clothes to make shadows but nothing happened, even after I adjusted the intensity. It worked perfectly well on his skin though. Why is that?

You may have had it set on the wrong setting (shadows, midtones, highlights) - I'm not quite sure which program you're using to colour it, so it might not work that way on your program. >_< I don't see why it wouldn't work unless you had another part of the picture selected and couldn't paint on the part you wanted to.

I'm working on an Armaldo vs Kabutops picture :) And I've just finished the layout for PC ^_^ That was really fun to do! I'd love to make a dark layout sometime! :D
 
Yes I would like it too. I want a black and dark layout to use. Midnight Misty is ok, but it has a huge whopping picture of her at the top which is "bleh!" in my opinion.

And FG, I used to think you were a guy when I first joined PC (on my 1st acount) O_O. I don't know what got into me! I didn't look at the gender thing! *hides* >>
 
I'd love to make a Mewtwo and Mew themed one, with really dark purples and blacks. ^_^ Mewtwo launching a Shadow Ball attack would be nice! :D

oh yeah, you could do Mew vs. Mewtwo like when they fought in the movie XD
