The Fire Emblem Fanclub

I'm actually kinda curious what kind of world this RP will take place in. Will it be the usual style or a new kind. I ask because I've been playing Final Fantasy VI and its industrial revolution-esque world sounds kinda interesting when mixed with Fire Emblem.

[PokeCommunity.com] The Fire Emblem Fanclub

I made this when I was bored, so here's Kahlan the Myrmidon!

I'm curious if I can play a secret princess, you know, one that ran away from her country because she'd rather be a commoner than a prissy royal. It probably goes without saying, but she'll be a tomboy, although slightly sheltered.

Oh, FFVI, that was a nice game. XD I started playing it, didn't have the chance to continue. Renaming you characters is fun, still, FE is much more to my likings. o-o"

Although the idea of an industrial world sounds great, I don't think it would work out well in a FE rp. Because, imo, way to many would have to be changed: weaponry, classes, ...
The whole idea of FE is based upon a ME world, and not another one. =/
Also, whether you have played 6,7,8,9,1o,11 or even one of the earlier ones, there are elements that are the same in every game (well, mostly).. and I think that it would be great if one could fall back on such things. Imagining a FE world that we're used too, is easier than to create a whole new one. And where will you lay the boundaries of an industrial world? How far would you go? FF VI has those machines (like mecharobots), the 'real' industrial didn't have those. And It would be difficult to rebuild that into the FE World, but that's just my oppinion. =/

Anyways, I came up with something last night. I might sound really dull though. XD

"A long time ago, the goddess of life ascended from the world. With her leaving she sealed away all that was dark and evil, granting the world an era of peace and prosperity. Where she left the holy lands now stand a giant sculpture of a tree, the Tree of Beginning Pokemon anyone? It is completely made of crystal, with branches that reach out to the azure sky.
Although it is made of crystals, it is alife, part of the goddess herself. And with its roots it protects the secret chamber where the "Heart of the World" lays. Some call it the "Burning Core", some the "Goddess' Seal", others the "Fire Emblem".
This so called "Seal" is always covered in some sort of flame, but only one who's heart is pure can make the Fire Emblem blaze into it's true colours. For others it will burn into a sad, but serene blue flame.

Many years have passed since her leaving, and the races running along the lands are starting to collide. Small aggrivations turn into fights, whispers and rumors turn into so-called truths. And it doesn't take long before struggles and fights start to happen. In the midst of these battles the Seal suddenly vanishes. And with it's disappearance chaos is released upon the world. It doens't take long before the lands are engulfed in war and despair. It is then that a group of selected people from all races join together to refind the Emblem. It is a difficult task to snatch it from th evil king who thought it could help him rule the world, but a more difficult task to reseal all that is dark and evil...
In order to relit the flame of the Emblem, each of those 10 virtuous men and women had to sacrifice something. Some lost their lifes, others part of their bodies, but the price they paid, was enough.
Peace once returned to the lands and the remaining Virtuous Ones left to rebuild the fallen world. But even now greedy eyes are spying on the Crystal Tree's Secret treasure..."

Very stereotipical and little original, I know. D; But we still have time, right. ;D

And btw, I'm planning on Replaying FE9, is there one reason why I wouldn't use the same savefile as my previous one (meaning the one I finished... thus kinda resetting without resetting?

I like the way you're going with the story kippy :) ..

And don't worry..Fire Emblem is steriotypical anyway XD.

Really? :o You think it's rather okay? ._."

Hm, I restarted FE9 anyways, I still have the other file. Just, is there a reason why one should finish the epilogue as well? XD I kinda loose all the time... (I thought I was okay... Yeah, right. >_>) And you know what's worst? I wanted to have a game with no Game Overs (I got one in the fight against the Black Knight, I forgot to bring enough Elixirs.) Ike died in chapter 6.. 6 COME ON. >_>

And is it true that Ike became a meathead in Radiant Dawn? :o I didn't hear much positive about him while scrolling through the RD artwork comments on Fireemblemblog...
I want RD now. ;-; I've heard too many different things about that game. I want to make my own judgement... The in-game videos don't make any sense to a PoR gamer. =/ The Laguz attack Begnion (?) while they were working together for Crimea... it's an odd thing I say.

@CrystalWalters: Your sprite looks great. =) And sure you can be a princess, as long as it would fit in the general story though. :3
@Evilshan: FE8... I didn't get that far yet. ;-;

I think RD is good...But it's just nowhere near as addictive as the other games.

I'm sure I can get her to fit in. I can either create a country (heck it could be the attacking country), or have it be a country from a far,
Spoiler:

Wah... I can't think of any single plot... I'm having some kind of writer's block as well as an artist's block... :( ... I WILL think of something though...

@Kippy... Looks good... now with other inputs and some refinement... it will look good.

Hm... Maybe I can bring in some dragons too.... Heh... I have 2 unstarted (weak)RPs full of that dragon stuff... xD

Don't worry naruto..

I'm sure you'll get past this block :3

Try to spoiler that kind of thing in future.
Yup I fixed it, sorry for that Kippy, uh, I promise to make it up somehow (in the RP).
@Crystal-Walters: I like your sig. It's sexy.

Okie we've got a opening plot. We've got one character (slim, myrmidon, princess to summarise in three words).
Couple of things from me;
  • Rather than all races which would make it very complex can we do people of different lands
  • Evil guy is owner of one of these nations (preferably a larger one)

  • Characters are overwhelm by the evil guy at first but steadily gather their forces.
  • Starts at the death or birth of a character (more dramatic)
  • Have a boat scene, monsters too.
Just food for thought

My sig is sexy? I guess Gardevoir and Lopunny are considered the sexy pokemon.

I like that, but lets do something different, if possible, and have an evil lady. You rarely see that in FE, at least as the main tyrant.

I think we should at least have Dragonkin as a race, their pretty much a series staple.

Spoiler:

I still like the idea however.

...How about a Jeigen sage at the beginning rather than a paladin? Same thing for the endgame promoted lv. 20; have them be a paladin instead of a sage? Just some thoughts for breaking stereotypes...sorta.

I'll be the summa-rizer of ideas so far then:
  • Evil lady villian (still corresponds nicely with opening plot) wants crystal tree's secret treasure so she can wreak havoc....
  • Jeigen sage instead of Paladin
  • Slim, Myrmidon, Princess named Kahlan
  • Importance of 10 heroes
  • Dragonkin
  • Importance of the one who can make the Fire Emblem shine truely#
  • Vanishing Seal: symbolistic of the chaos in the land#
Anything I missed?
#=ideas that are related
BTW; Gonna Play FESD agian and get to know the characters for idea in our RP that and Pokemon Platinum!!! (and study but this is more important)
All we need now is a protagonist.

Nice summary of ideas.
You know, the Jeigan Sage thing? I kinda came up with a royal family already... =/ Sorry, my mind keeps on wandering the paths of creating characters and stories. XD I'm not saying you have to take it, but now to the point of what I wanted to say.
The retainer, nurse, whatever, of the young prince, was sage, I KID YOU NOT. XD

Possible Royal Family~
Name: Raven
Class: Lord
Age:21 (?)
Weapon: Sword
History: Raven is the only heir to the throne of ... country. His grandfather is sitting on the throne and has no eye for his grandson. Raven was mainly raised by the Sage Leyrah (whose in her late 30ties) and partially by his mother, whom he shares a good bond with. Raven is tired of how his grandfather refuses to hear him, and only has eye for Lord blabla (who really has ties with our big baddy)...Maybe that grandfather was one of those heroes, and the might has gone to his head? XD
It comes to the day where the king is so tired of his grandson's "ranting" that he beats him up. Raven's mother than orders Leyrah to take Raven out of here and take with her some of their most trusted soldiers....
what comes after it... is the start of our story?

As for my character who I'd love to play with.
Name: Iphraim
Age: 27
Class: Wyvern Lord (prepromote, I know. >_<)
I was thinking about his history. Comes from the other nation, doesn't like fighting. Leaves his squad with the order to stay alive and blabla... then joins the army, and achieves a nice post in the army. Makes no sence at the moment, I know. XD

https://mudkipblader.deviantart.com/art/Soaring-the-skies-104416557
I can alter his bio... but he will be my OC for FE7. x3

I'm in a hurry, so sorry for the short post. D=

Nice lord..But we may need a new name due to there being a character called raven in FE7...Awesome he was.

And nice char too.

My turn.

Name: Adelaar (I know what it means kippy..I may change it XD ..but I think it sounds cool.)
Age: 22
Class: Mercenary (He will be a hero..I know it)

I think...

..He is quiet and seems to sit back and observe alot..But he is loyal to his king and will protect him at all costs..

..He was born in *Insert place name here* without a known father, But he had a father figure in *Insert name here*, the bodyguard of the king at the time, he taught him the way of the sword and the importance of protecting their leader..

That's all I can muster up at the moment.. XD

Unrelated to the spoiler.
Some info tidbits about Kahlan. She's a tomboy and tries a little hard to show that she can be as good at fighting as a man, because of her brother, who was always being celebrated as a Warrior when she was told that it "Wasn't a lady's place". She's a little sheltered because of her being a princess and is fascinated by everyday things that commoners are used to, such as cooking and building/fixing things. She takes a little while to trust someone, but when she does, she can be a pretty sweet girl.

Hahaha... Um... I will get right on to making up some characters...

Hm... I can't seem to find my dragon character I created a long time ago... He was pretty cool too... Gah!

(I'm thinking of making her a little enigmatic at the moment... Heh.)
Name: Luna (Her name she dubbed for herself to hide her true identity... Oooo! Maybe we can do support conversations to uncover this! Muwahahah!)
Age: Um... Undecided for now.. but for quite a few years....
Race: Half-Human/Half-Dragon kin (Woot! Sophia reincarnate! Muwahahahah! I'm kidding... :P)
Gender: Female
Class: Shaman
History: A wandering seeress with allegiance to no one. She is thought to be the last princess of *insert country* but with her *true* self locked away from everyone, no one truly knows. Luna simply wanders to unlock the mysteries of the world unknown to her and the recent skirmishes cause by *insert bad country* seems to be stirring her spirits. Maybe she just might join in for a little observation...
Other ability: She is unable to unlock the true powers of her dragonkin's side but decides to use ancient dark magic in it's place. Somehow, her spells are much more powerful than normal dark magic users.

This seems a little fuzzy to start with but whatever... Heh.

Name: Kazuhiko Funimuri (Whoo... my ser-name making is so random lately... hahaha...)
Age: 23
Gender: Male
Race: Human
Class: (Gah... I can't help it... bet you there's gonna be a ton of these hehe...) MYRMIDON!
History: A mysterious man who drifted from sea to the continent of *insert continent name*. His exotic clothing bears a resemblance to the lands east of the sea. (Hehehe... I can't let the eastern trend die with Myrms!) He doesn't remember much from before he drifted to the continent of *insert continient name*, but his arm does remember the weight of his sword that was found with him. A female living in one of the outskirt towns from the country of *insert bad country's name* found him and nursed him back to health. Kazuhiko later offered to aid the lady with all her needs as repayment and she took such offer. Kazuhiko helped her with daily chores and aided the town as well and became well-liked by the community. He fended off countless raiders by himself and later, whispers of his abilities reached the evil king of *insert bad country*, who forced Kazuhiko to join his ranks. Kazuhiko had no choice but to fight off waves of troops to keep his life, which he did, and, unwillingly, became a high ranking General within *insert bad king's name*'s troops. Though he fights for *bad country's name*, he is much more devoted to the people rather than the king's unrighteous demands of murder.
Other Ability: His blade was never meant to kill... but to disable. His final blows will never kill someone but just render them incapacitated.

Whoo... This one took long but heh... a little info will start his life off... Oh and are we still in the process of name-finding the continent and countries? Maybe I'll go look back and re-read some stuff... Oh wait... one more! To coincide with the man up there. *points up* :D

Name: Ester Aurelias
Age: 19
Gender: Female
Race: Human
Class: Cleric
History: A cheerful maiden who aids an outskirt town within the borders of *insert bad country's name* with her restorative abilities. Her family was born closer within the kingdom where the hustle and bustle were but they fled to one of the outskirt town out of mysterious reasons. They lived there peacefully for some few years but then trouble came. Ester's parents repelled a large taskforce of invading brigands from the town but lost their lives after the conflict. The elder of the town raised Ester as his own in honor of her parents. Ester started her studies of the clerical ways over the years. During her 19th birthday, she happened to find a wounded man with odd clothing who drifted from the sea on one of her trips to gather fish and herbs. She helps him and asks for his aid around the town.
Other Ability: She is surprisingly able to heal a group of people as one without the aid of a Fortify staff. That makes her very handy when handling crowds of barbaric men...... (Haha...)

Hm... That should do it for now... Hehehe... Quite a lot of impulsive ideas popping up there...

Great we've got eight characters already:
How many people per character?
Update on what we've got:
Old:
Evil lady villian (still corresponds nicely with opening plot) wants crystal tree's secret treasure so she can wreak havoc....
Jeigen sage instead of Paladin(Probably not but kept it anyways)
Importance of 10 heroes
Dragonkin
Importance of the one who can make the Fire Emblem shine truely#
Vanishing Seal: symbolistic of the chaos in the land#
New:
Royal:
Young prince Raven, (Sage) running from his uncle (Contrast with Richard III by shakespeare)
Slim, Myrmidon, Princess named Kahlan
Non-Royal:
Iphraim:Wyvern knight weak ties to old land so joins new
Adeelar: Mercenary:Born a bastard, Very loyal, learned from the best
Moore:Recruit currently on the other (the bad side).
Luna:Half-dragon shaman, once a princess scarred by her past due to (bad country here).
Kazuhiko: Mercenary from the sea: who came upon a country ruled by a bad king but was unwillinly placed in the position of a General: really doesn't like the king of (insert another bad country here).Maims but doesn't kill
Ester: Cleric who uses her restorative abilities to help an outskrit town.Currently guiding an old man.

Are most of the bad country gonna be in the same place?
Because they do fit well together and (I think) give an overall image of the chaos that is overwhelming the country of (insert bad country here) caused by the wicked (ruler) and his/her plots.
Ideas:
Medieval ideas: Stereotypes,Suspicions, fortune-tellers, Providentialism,
Entertainment, rough terrain, ragged but simple way of living.
