I'm pretty sure whatever topic we were on just lost its train of thought entirely...

Fav Weapons..
Then FE10/ Ike...

How about FE8?

It was the first fire emblem I ever played.
I thought it rocked super, even though a lot of the characters seem typically righteous, other than Joshua and Colm.

You guys' thoughts?
 
My first game was FE7 and it's still my n°1. But I won't deny that I kinda like FE8 as well.
I say "kinda", because I haven't quite played it that much. With Ephraim's story I'm on the boat and with Eirika... uh... somewhere with that spear-wielding Girl I think. XD
There are great characters, but I seem to be more attached to the Rekkanoken-characters. :3 Eliwood and co~ XD

But Joshua and Colm are pretty cool characters. (hey you know what, I'm going to play some FE8 later today XD)
 
FE7 > FE8 IMO.

But FE8 is still very good...As are all FE games.


I'm playing through RD again..Just started Part 3....Ike <3.

I love the cut-scene when he gets introduced..Boyd goes absolutely skitz...It's awesome.
 
I never got around to playing FE7.

I should though. It is Fire Emblem.
FE7's on my list, after I beat Radiant Dawn.

I really liked FE8's stylized battle animations. Assassins and Swordmasters, anybody?
It's something you sort of see less of in the console installments. Maybe it's just the 3-D graphics that make it look different.

And Myrrh is great, even though you only get one Dragonstone.
 
First time I played through FE8 I used Myrrh way too much...The dragonstone broke before the last chapter..which annoyed me.

I don't like Assassins and Swordmasters and the like really..

..If you're going to use a sword .. do it the right way, get a hero.
 
If you liked the animations of FE8, you will most likely love the Animations of FE7 (an 6), since they used the same spriting techniques for those games. ^^ FE8 got a menu make-over, but they're pretty much the same. :3
 
Boyd is liek..in my top ten now...

He's so bad ass in RD.
 
Boyd is killer.
I'm probably gonna have him 3rd tier by the end of the chapter I'm on.

Yeah I kinda abused Myrrh, but by the last chapter, I fortunately still had a good 6 uses left.
Has anybody beaten the Ruins of Lagdou?
I almost beat the first but I was just like, CBA.

Seriosuly .. FE7 changed my gaming life...

Ruins of Lagdou...I beat it once..but it took so long..I never went near it again.


Anyway..

Yeah. When that cutscene played I was like

ZOMG GREIL MERCS!

It totally made the game a lot better to see them come back in such an insanely kickass way.

And the fact that they slaughtered enemies SO much better than the Dawn Brigade
 
I know it was so great!

I think it just made the game 100 times better.

That level is sorta hard. But you get the BK on turn 5, and Sothe should have beast killer.

If you can, give Edward Paragon, by all means. You could get him to be a Trueblade in a couple of levels that way.
 
1. Wierd...Sothe didn't.
2. Edward sucks...But yes he had paragon.
3. It seemed easier than when I did it on normal...

I noticed your theme. :3 It's easy to tell. XD it would be a lot harder if you had changed your theme as well. XDD

And, I'm officially in study period now, I have my first exam on Monday, so I won't be that active anymore... what do you call active anyway...
