Ah, yes, if FE9, I've gotten to chapter 25 (?) - Strange lands. Ike pwns. ô-o I should train my other characters more, although I'm quite content of my team. Is it just me, or do characters in FE9 level faster than in FE7?
Just, Rhys misses defense, and he got hit a few times by those big rocks. ;-;, but now it's going great. =D

FE9 and 10 levelling does seem faster tbh.
 
Well, FE9 and FE10 are longer than previous FE games, so that gives them more time to grow characters. There's also the fact that you don't have to wait for promotion items and bonus experience is available.
 
That's a fact that's true. ^-^ Now you can promote in the middle of a level without item. It's great. =D
Just a little question that's been bothering me.. not really bothering, rather wondering. If a Laguz reaches level 20... after that, does he just remain 20? or is there some Laguz promotion as well? (this might sound stupid, I know, but it'd be funny)

I'm listening to "Life returns" from the FE9 soundtrack right now. Does anyone know if there's some sort of translation of the Heron's Galdr (sp?)?
And now "Ike's resolution"... I've been wondering this as well: the song from brawl "Ike's theme", was that taken from FE10? 'cause I've yet to hear it used in FE9. =o

And and and! I'm painting a Heath and Priscilla picture. :3 Prisci's finished. Only Heath remains unfinished for now XD.

Yes, "Ike's Theme" is in FE10, only it is called "Eternal Bond". Also, in FE9, apparently, nothing happens to Laguz when they reach level 20, from what I've read (don't own a gamecube or a memory card >_>). The only thing left to do is to teach them their mastery skill, I guess. I know in FE10 that the cap is leveling up Laguz 40, though.

thank you! yes it is soren actually. he's a pretty good character in FE. i use him a lot in radiant dawn
 
Can I join this club please. I've loved Fire Emblem since Marth was first seen in Super Smash Bros. Melee, he's my favorite character. I've played every Fire Emblem released here and I've owned two, Sacred Stones and Fire Emblem Shadow Dragon, which I got by chance the other day when I noticed I had more money than I thought while reserving Pokemon Platinum. I've kinda owned Roy's game, Fire Emblem: The Binding Blade, through a rom hack of the Japanese game to have English Text for 70% of the story, though I didn't get that far due to Computer Issues.

My Top 5 Male Characters are:
Marth
Ike (PoR & RD)
Roy
Hector
Sothe (RD)

My Top 5 Female Characters are:
Ceada (or Shiida, as she was translated in Eur. and SSBB Sticker and Anime Dub)

Well by the time they reached FE9, all the paladin classes have got major boosts to max stats. The FE7 Paladin(most were men) Had quite balanced stats around 21-25 while FE9's Paladins had much higher overall stats with them being of the STR,SKL,SPD, and DEF stats which ranged from 24-28 (actually I forgot the exact amounts since my Astrid always maxed out.) I'd say Paladins in FE9 if near maxed stats, are much more powerful than FE7 Paladins. You might have to check on those max stats though but I know they've been raised in FE9.

Oh and about my drawings... I'm puttin them on hold since I have multiple tests coming up. Gotta study really hard.
 
The SD paladins are more like Generals on horseback than attacking threat IMO.

I noticed that compared to Marcus, the FE9 Paladins Titania (prepromote/lance-Axe)), Oscar (lance knight -> paladin), Geoffry (Prepromote/Archer-Lance) all seem stronger. =/ More balanced as well, not immediately really strong. Although Titania is a maniak in the beginning though. *chuckle* That reminds me of that one comic I found on dA. x3
I wouldn't know about Astrid and Kieran, since I kinda neglected them. xD It's funny how my the Paladins are all green at the moment. =3 Oscar is great. Needs training, but once he grows, he gets better.

My current theme:
Ike (lv 19), Oscar, Geoffry, Reyson, Janaff, Lethe, Soren, Tanith, Jill, Haar, Rhys, Boyd, Shinon, (extra: Zihark, Titania, Lucia, Tauroneo (who's recruitment conversation I missed due my cat sitting on the controller >_>) and some others I suppose I can't remember right now...XD

Whoops, I made a mistake and confused the knights of FE9 with that of FESS

About your tests, yeah mate I understand and feel for you because I'm in a similar predicament because I have exams going towards my HSC in two weeks.

Hahaha. Well... Doing major studies at the moment... So I'll be off PC for a while this coming week. Man it's hella... I have 15 pages of lecture notes to study out of... PLUS book work/reading.... >.<

I like FE7's Blessing of the 8 Generals II BGM. It's like the Epic BGM for a battle! Oh and Shattered Life is a good soothing type for my tastes, too bad it's kind of short. I could try to play it on the piano but... Time and focus is needed... and it's currently diverted somewhere else. Reminiscence is also good (which I think is Ninian's theme in a way.). I like soothing music pieces just so you know. :D I forgot most of FE6 music. ><
