heh, well i like the name too but he might happen to be named after a certain flame wielding Organization XIII member as well =P

Cool Fire Pokemon pictures, everyone. And nice answer you have, Hanako Tabris. Anyway, I got a new topic:
Did you think Fire Pokemons are better in battles or contests?
I will answer it later.

I think they would do well in both. Ember or Flamethrower is a good choice appeal for a Pokemon Contest if it is done right, before using a move Charmander knows that will disperse the flames like Metal Claw to leave an ember trail which I think would look impressive.

I agree with Fiver, I think they will do better in both. Because in contest appeals, they can use a combo of two fire attacks. And for battles, they are good at it.

Battles all the way :) i don't know much about having them look beautiful but when it comes to battling they're second to none with a good spread of defenses, over whelming attacks, and general speed...Did i hear someone say Overheat, Fire Blast, Heat Wave, and Flare Blitz :D?

ya... i wonder who's gonna win THIS one... *sarcasm*

Nice answer you have, Evkay. The picture you posted is Torkoal battling against Steelix. And Torkoal wins.

Woah I forgot about here...Naughty me...

Do you have Fire Pokemon in every game and what are their movesets?

No. I don't have any on my Yellow versdion and on my Diamond version. I'm not sure about my Emerald version

I have a few on my Pearl version...but i'm only listing movesets for those that I have on a team

Ninetales - Soulflame
Moves: Flamethrower, Hypnosis, Nasty Plot, Energy Ball

Infernape - Shimmer
Moves: Flamethrower, Shadow Claw, Calm Mind, Close Combat

Did you think Fire Pokemon are better in battles or contests?
They're about equally as useful in both. The best pokemon i've ever trained and used for conests was a fire pokemon.

Sure you can join, Gold19. Welcome to the club! The latest topic is this:

well it depends on the Pokemon, Well I know that Fire types are best when it comes to Beauty type contest,
