The Future of Pokemon Bank

For much of the sixth generation, we've had Pokemon Bank for storing our Pokemon (and for more easily moving them between games on the same 3DS), as well as a transporter tool for moving Pokemon from gen 5 to gen 6. Movement from RBY to Sun and Moon (presumably gen 7) has also been announced. Do you use Bank, and do you like it? And as Bank continues to support more games, what changes do you think will be made? Will the storage capacity increase? Will it eventually stop supporting older generations? Will the price rise? Will the concept ultimately be abandoned entirely in favor of something different? Where do you see Bank heading in the future?

I use PokéBank quite regularly. It gives you a secure feeling to know some of your most valuable monsters are stored safely in the cloud. It is still a bit unwieldy though and I wish it was backwards compatible. I would love to replay my Gen V cartridges with Pokémon that have been bred using the improvements of Gen VI. I hope they don't focus only on forward compatibility.

I love the bank. So much easier to transfer Pokemon between the copies of my games now. In the past, I had to use a second DS or a friend.

I hope that in the future we keep utilizing the bank and they expand on it. I'm fine with paying more for it if they add on more features that make it worth it. $4.99 per year is really nothing, I could find that on the side of the street.
