As we all know Gamefreak released a 3DS-app known as the Pokédex 3D Pro. This nifty app allows you to look up information about all Pokémon on the spot. It includes much more information than the in-games PokéDexes (for example; information on how to evolve Pokémon and their learnsets).
What future do you forsee for the PokéDex Pro?
I love the PokéDex Pro, but I think it's annoying to use while playing White 2 on my 3DS. I have to save the game, go to the home menu and launch the PokéDex. I hope that Gamefreak is able to incorporate the Dex somehow in X/Y. For example; when the PokéDex Pro is installed on your 3DS you can launch it from X/Y. No need to save your game and go to the menu; the game does it all for you. Because the 3DS doesn't support multi-tasking yet (only one app can be active at any time) this might be a challenge.
Also I'm wondering if you think Gamefreak will update the Dex with the new Pokémon. All new Pokémon will have 3D-models, so that won't be the problem. They might release a free update for all PokéDex Pro owners, or have one at a fee. Another possibility is that Gamefreak won't update the Dex at all, which would be a shame.
Let's recap: I'd like to ask you these questions:
- How do you think Pokémon X/Y and the PokéDex 3D Pro will work together?
- Do you think Gamefreak will update the Pokédex 3D Pro with all of the new Pokémon?
