It seems you either did not read the front page of the Clan Organization thread describing the purpose of the clan or you misunderstood it.

While we are perfectly willing to aid new players and battle them, our aim is to be a group of talented and experienced players, and that is primarily what we will look for in new members.

In order to join, you need to show that you have skill in pokemon battling and can act maturely. Contact one of the Clan Leaders in the list below and ask to be admitted. You will then battle under conditions set by that person. If your battle sufficiently proves your skill or if you have previously demonstrated your skill to the tester in other battles, then you will be admitted. Admittance is not necessarily determined by your victory.

The Clan is interested in members who are skilled, experienced, and knowledgeable about pokemon. The battle we had was not a casual one, it was one where you were supposed to show your skill, experience, and knowledge. You made several critical errors and showed a lack of reasoning about what a good choice of action would have been, namely letting me systematically put to sleep and kill almost all of your team one by one, and testing attacks for effectiveness when you should have just known which attack was the best choice of action. You also claimed to be testing one of your pokemon to see if its use was viable, but that sort of thing has no place in battle to test your skill unless you make that pokemon succeed..

It is not that you lost and we only recognize victory (you don't have to win the test battle to get in), that The Clan does not appreciate the fun in casual pokemon matches, or that we hate new players. You just didn't show the level of skill we are looking for. We would be perfectly fine with battling you or giving you advice, but until your skill improves we don't want you as a member.

I am sorry if you took personal offense to this, I am not trying to single you out.


Although The Generation does not have any strict entry-guidelines as far as I know, I am willing to provide the commentary on our test battle to ABYAY if so wishes so that he can help Desolation improve as a member of the Generation.
