I noticed my team has a Gyarados weakness. What do you guys think of this bronzong to counter it.

Relaxed nature 252 HP/252 defence/6 Sp atk
Item- Leftovers
Chargebeam ( this is a must)
Gyro ball/Earthquake
Hypnosis
Grassknot/stealthrock/reflect

(Maybe those EV's are not suitable for it)

With a Charge bolt with level 0 Stage you do about

Damage: 128 - 150
Damage: 38.67% - 45.32%

If you get your stage increased then your damage goes up to

Damage: 188 - 222
Damage: 56.80% - 67.07%

So you have the possibly to 2HKO it or 3HKO it indefinitely. decent Gyra counter and a good wall for any team.

This is on a Gyra with no HP EV's and no SP Def Ev's as well.

because more speed EVs meant less spatt EVs.....+ for moves like gyro ball.

Ok well vs Standard bulky Gyra.

Damage: 124 - 146
Damage: 32.29% - 38.02%

After one stage up.

Damage: 183 - 215
Damage: 47.66% - 55.99%

So 3HKO a Bulky Gyra and 2-3 HKO a non Bulky Gyra.

Still a decent counter and good wall in general.
