    This is a fairly small and short RPG about one of the biggest races in Pokemon History. It starts in Ever Grande City, and the route goes a long way. First, it goes across Hoenn and across the sea, eventually to Lavender Town in Kanto. Then it goes to the north and the lonesome country, around Mt. Moon and Mt. Silver, then it enters Johto. From there, it heads southwest and bears a sharp left at Cianwood, heading for Cinnabar Island. Then it heads south into a whole new mystery continent called Aquatissea, where it ends at a faraway beach called Ruby Cove at the southernmost point. (Don't worry--I'll remind you where the course goes every once in a while...)

    Are you up for this long and time-consuming event? You may choose a group of Pokemon, a maximum of 6. Pick the fastest, the strongest, and a wide variety for going across all types of land and sea. It would be wise to bring a flying Pokemon as well...

    You may stop at any town or other place to rest, but make sure you pace yourself... Whoever reaches Ruby Cove first will be declared the winner and will receive the rare Master Ball. Of course there will be prizes for the second and third runner-ups.

    Now, here's the signup:
    Name: You may also have a nickname.
    Age:
    Gender:
    Pokemon: (up to 6; no legendaries)
    Appearance:
    Personality: You can also put your style in a race or something here.
    Other: Anything else; you may also put something about your Pokemon here.

    Rules and Notes:
    1. Of course, no legendary, fusion, or made-up Pokemon allowed.
    2. Your Pokemon don't have to be fully evolved.
    3. You may have two or more of the same Pokemon, and they can have nicknames. (Nicknames are recommended for two or more of the same Pokemon.)
    4. Regular rules apply--no spamming, etc.
    5. No cheating in the race, and NO TELEPORTING!!
    6. Please note that about fifty trainers in all participate in this race, so you can mention other trainers as well.
    7. NO ATTACKING OTHER POKEMON!! It's just plain unfair. Same goes with trainers. You can, however, use attacks to get rid of obstacles or something.
    8. If you join late, be sure to start wherever most of the participants are.

    Whew, I think that's enough... Oh, and here's my signup...

    Name: Rei
    Age: 45
    Gender: female
    Pokemon: Flygon, Ninetales, Lunatone, Dragonair, Gardevoir, and Magneton
    Appearance: Rei has fairly short, gray hair in a ponytail and eyes to match. She wears a white shirt with long blue sleeves, dark blue jeans, and brown, pointed high-heels. She sometimes wears a long, light blue coat with white, fuzzy trim.
    Personality: Despite her age, Rei can act like she's 15. She's not that active and can be quite laid back and calm. But she's also not agressive and that's her weakness...
    Other: Rei doesn't like giving nicknames to Pokemon. She entered the race for the Master Ball; she's on a quest to capture the legendary Celebi. She doesn't like battling with Pokemon, even though most of her Pokemon are fully evolved. Her Pokemon, though quite old, are still quite fit for a race, but she hardly did any preparation...

    Well, I hope we get more participants...

    Hmmm... I guess we have enough participants to start.

    Now, in your first post, I want everyone to just take it easy and do something on the night before the race... Have your post end on the day of the race, and say which Pokemon you will be starting it with. The first part of race is quite straight and rocky, going on top of Victory Road in Ever Grande... I will anounce when the race starts...

    Rei sat in her hotel room in Ever Grande, staring out the window impatiently, thinking about her strategy for the race. She had a big discussion in whih she went outside and found a quiet spot, let out all her Pokemon, and directed them on what to do. "OK, Lunatone, you will go there while I hang on to you, and you, Flygon, will be my air ride... Dragonair, you'll handle the sea, and Gardevoir... I'll have to think about what to do with you..." The meeting continued until about midnight, when Rei finally looked at her watch and exclaimed, "Darn, it's late! We should sleep before the big race!" But on the way back to the hotel, she saw a group of sinister trainers, almost like a gang. She crept closer, and she finally heard them speak...
    "If we enter the race this way, we can... Bah, let's just cheat as we always do. That's the Team Shockwave specialty, right? Now Tina, I'll have you stay behind me and attack oncoming trainers, and you, Ken, will be in charge of obstacles."
    "And what about you, Travis?" Ken asked.
    "I will take the lead and be the first-place winner. But I'll give the prize to the boss." The three nodded, but that Tina girl spotted Rei. Rei jumped an quickly turned away, and her Gardevoir, who had appeared from its Pokeball, protected her from this Team Shockwave, in case they tried to steal her other Pokemon or something...

    "Team Shockwave? Who are they?" Rei thought. "Huh, if they're going to break the rules, I shall... oh phooey, let's just think about the race... I'll just have to beef up security for my Pokemon." And with that, she fell asleep.

    On the next morning, Rei found that her Gardevoir had carried her to the starting line of the race while she was still asleep. Rei thanked Gardevoir and put her back in her Pokeball, sending out Flygon shortly after. But she kept an eye out for the three Team Shockwave members, whoever they were...

    I added the Team Shockwave thing so that we would have a little challenge in the race... Don't worry if your first post is short; it should be... Din't worry about me being in total control of this story, because I'm trying not to be, and I'll let you decide which path to take in the race as long as it follows the course...

    Lucky laughed while dancing with her friends. They were throwing her a good-bye party and she was loving every minute of it. Not only did they buy her CDs with all the latest hits on them, they brought food and drinks.

    She knew that she should be getting a good night's rest, but she couldn't resist a good party. After all, her boyfriend was there, and Lucky wanted to say good-bye to him. It couldn't be all that bad. All of her Pokemon were fit, and she was too. She figured she would decide what to do once she got out there. She was quick at "Spur of the moment decisions".

    "Lucky, you all right," Marco asked her.

    Lucky broke out of her thoughts. She realized that she had been standing there while her friends continued to dance.

    "Yeah, just a little tired. I think I'm going to go back now. Tomorrow is a big day, and I need my sleep. I'm going to miss you though."

    Marco kissed her quickly before saying good-bye. Lucky, having said her last good-bye, was finally ready to head back to hotel room.

    Mt. Silver. again. as usual. My training was never-ending, and every day, I trained my pokemon to thier limits. I knew that the harder they trained, the stronger they would become.

    Checking my watch, I found that it was midnight, since I only trained at night.. "okay team, that's enough for today, let's get going" I returned all of my pokemon, exept for Flygon, and hopped on it's back... Before long, I had reached the area where the race would be held, and after Flygon landed, I hopped off it's back, recalled it, and sent out Rapidash...

    I sat on top of a small hill overlooking Kanto, my home. All the lights were shining, and my Pokemon were sitting beside me, all of them looking towards the stars. I decided to have a test to see how fast I could switch Pokemon in a race. I walked over to the center of the hill, and recalled all my Pokemon except for Rapidash, her mane flaming beautifully in the night sky. I hopped on her back and we shot off, weaving through branches and trees, until we reached a cliff, and I jumped offf Rapidash, recalled her, and sent out Salamence, landing perfectly on his back. "Pretty good," I said, "But not good enough!" Salamence ripped through the air, his eyes peircing the darkness. We suddenly flew sideways, over the ocean, and I recalled Salamence and released Dewgong. She splashed into the water and I flipped several times high above her and landed on her back. We moved so fast that waves shot up on each side, and we go to where you could see Ever Grande City, but not too well. I jumped off Dewgong, and sent out Arcanine, I was on his back in the air, and I shouted "Arcanine! Extremespeed!" He shot so fast that I almost threw up, but managed to keep it in. We were running across the water, his speed so great that if we went any faster we would've created a split in the ocean. Arcanine jumped right before we hit land and we landed softly in the sand. I recalled him and walked up the steps to the hotel, and spoke to the inkeeper. "Hey, I'm here for the race." I spoke to him.
    "And you are?" He said eyeing me.
    "I'm Linc." I said.
    "Oh, yes. Your room is number 205." Have a good sleep, sir, as you'll need energy for the race." I walked up the stairs, and opened the door to reveal a huge room. I let out all my Pokemon, as it was so big that they could all be in there without intruding each other's space. I got in bed and fell asleep.

    "We are all gathered here today to witness the greatest of all races. Our racers will race around the entire world, and the winner shall recieve a great prize!" Boomed a loud voice from the speakers, but it was muffled by the cheering of the crowd. I was sitting atop of Arcanine, and I was surrounded by other racers. The race was about to begin,a nd I would show everyone that we young people can win it all...

    I traveled on a train wondering if there be any competion. The stewardess came up and told me that we should arrive on the next 2 hours. I then asked her for a bag of peanuts. She replied with a yes and went into the back. When she got back she gave me the bag of peanuts. I then got out of my seat and headed for the closes seat to the door. We finally arrived after I took a cat nap I jumped out and ran to the nearest patch of grass to train until the big race.

    OK, I think it's time to start the race!
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Rei looked around at the other trainers in the race; there must have been a hundred or so. At the very far end, she saw the Team Shockwave gang huddled with their heads together, apparently discussing something secret. Rei shrugged and hopped on her Flygon, and the other trainers started doing the same with their Pokemon... Then, what looked like a sideways traffic light appeared, and three red lights turned on from left to right. It was a very tense moment for the trainers; the race was about to start...
    "GO!!!" came the announcement as the lights turned green. The Pokemon ran (or flew) off, carrying their trainers with them. Rei's Flygon was doing fairly well. She managed to almost take the lead, but below her flying Pokemon were several trainers, the two leaders riding on a Rapidash and an Arcanine. But other trainers soon dashed ahead of the two... Suddenly, something caught Rei's attention: A Pokemon she had never seen before shot right past, flying a lot faster than her Flygon. Though she only caught a glimpse of it, the Pokemon looked like a purple Charizard, though she could tell it was clearly not a Charizard. Two other unidentified Pokemon clung on to that mystery dragon, and atop it were three people whom Rei immediately recognized as the members of Team Shockwave. She was outraged and shouted, "Flygon, go faster!" Flygon flew as fast as it could, but it could not catch up with Team Shockwave and their mystery Pokemon. Several other trainers who also saw the mystery dragon commanded their Pokemon to speed up as well.
    "Gardevoir, go!" Rei finally commanded. "See if you can... wait." She finally remembered the rule that in the race, Pokemon were not allowed to attack other Pokemon. "Never mind, return." Rei shrugged. "Flygon, take it easy, I don't want you getting tired..." she muttered as Flygon slowed down a bit. They were cruising right over Victory Road toward the Pokemon League building. Up ahead, she saw the mystery dragon make a sharp left at the building, heading across the sea for the rest of Hoenn.
    "ahh, crud!" I muttered, managed to just barely get to the starting line in time, due to an emergency switch in pokemon. Muk had been switched for a Venonat... Just before the light had turned green, I managed to bring out Rapidash, and hop on it's back, just barely starting with the rest... I noticed the odd pokemon, but I knew my focus had to stay on the race.. I urged my Rapidash on, eisaly catching up to a trainer on her Flygon, and another on his Tauros. Quickly passing them, I patted Rapidash on the neck, congradulating it... But I knew Rapidash would tire soon, and I had to get ready to use Flygon..
    Arcanine dashed forwards as fast as he could, his orange fur flipping in the wind. "Arcanine! Pick up the pace!" I shouted and Arcanine smiled and rushed forwards, dust shooting up on the sides. I looked up to see a Flygon with a woman on top, but a purple dragon flew past causing a sonicboom, but none of the Pokemon stirred. I weaved through the competiton, passing Pokemon as I went. Arcanine didn't slow down, he just kept running. "Okay Arcanine, you've done good." I said as I jumped off his back and sent out Salamence and landed on his back and we flew upwards and passed the Flygon, Salamence's wings shined in the sunlight as the ocean came in to view, and the purple dragon was flying over it...
    Rei and her Flygon had finally reached the Pokemon League building, but the mystery Pokemon was nowhere to be seen. However, there was an Electrode in the road, and it was about to explode. Several trainers were taken by surprise when they saw it, and they commanded their Pokemon to speed up around it. Flygon and a nearby Salamence and Pidgeot just flew up to avoid the Electrode. It finally exploded, knocking a trainer with a Scyther unconscious. The race continued on, Rei trembling slightly at the thought of how dangerous this race might turn out to be.
    "Dive to the ground, Flygon!" Rei shouted. When they reached a cliff close to the ocean, Rei got off Flygon and put it back in its Pokeball. Then she sent out Dragonair and got on it, and the two took off.
    As Rei and Dragonair started across the ocean, a group of Tentacruel appeared before them. Rei commanded Dragonair to fly over them, but the Tentacruel had hit Dragonair with their Poison Sting attacks. Both Rei and Dragonair fell into the water, and Dragonair was poisoned.
    "Aack! Dragonair, return!" Rei sighed; she didn't know what to do. Then... "Go Lunatone! Time for plan B!" Rei held on to Lunatone as the Pokemon floated up then darted towards Lilycove City...
    Note: Your next stop doesn't have to be Lilycove; you can take any route across Hoenn.
