All right. So, let's straighten this out.
I've spent much time plotting assorted things in order to keep my mind satisfied. Thus, I have two plots that I thought might make semi-interesting versions.
Alas, irony would have it that I haven't done anything remotely related to hacking a day in my life (unless you count failed spriting on several occasions and the mass downloading and removal of things yesterday yesterday). However, should it come to it, I'm a willing student if someone is willing to show me the ropes. (I'm not completely slacking! I'm looking at one of the guides to scripting I found in one of the tools on this site. I'll learn somehow!)
Ach, I'm getting off topic. Here's my ideas. (Neither of which shall contain fakemon, if you don't mind.)
Based off a rather old role play idea that died-ish. xD My friend asked me to bring it to the table again. The plot's a bit long, so to keep things nice and neat...
Hmm. Probably could use a rewrite, but you get the idea.
Anyways. The player character would be a male or female of the usual age (Call it around 11-15) that became trapped within the world, forced to survive this far-too-real children's book it in all it's (somewhat frightening) quirks.
..And now you're gonna hate me.
What I had in mind mixed PMD with a classic Pokemon game. As in, the personality quiz at the start to decide one's starter, and the starter, whom would be following you around holding a vital role in whatever happens, much like the PMD partner. Said starter is NOT allowed to faint- otherwise, instant white out.
The rest plays like a regular Pokemon game, with towns and gyms and the like.
A tall order to fill, for which I apologize. Feel free to throw something at me now.

A... thing... based in a downgraded Sinnoh of sorts in all it's glory with a bit of a twist to it, as I happen to like twist.
Yes, there's another plot to endure with this. Once again, it will be conveniently crammed into spoiler form.
After the events of the Spear Pillar, it was proven that a few ten year olds (one scantily dressed for the occasion) an elderly professor, and several adults of varying ages in thin spaceman costumes could survive the ascent of Mt. Coronet, completing it within less than a day and making it home for dinner to boot. Well, provided that capable partners accompanied them through their travels.
So, the prestigious trainer's school of Jubilife had to figure- why couldn't they take some of the older students, just weeks away from grading with full honors, on a field trip there? The school had enough Pokemon to keep an eye out for each student in their travels and keep wild creatures at bay.
So, that's what they did. While finding a way to bring a dozen twelve year olds, all of whom are barely able to contain their excitement, up Sinnoh's largest mountain is difficult, it isn't impossible. With a chaperon for each child plus two teachers and several tamed and powerful Pokemon, things run fairly smoothly from the start. Wild Pokemon, frightened by such a large pack, keep their distance. All is well.
Enter the problem known as the protagonist and his/her best friend (Also known as your chosen gender and the gender opposite; think May or Brendan). Not content to follow the beaten path of heroes and villains at the slow pace teachers and parents force upon the students, the two of you break for it at the first opportunity.
Along with a loyal Spheal under the ownership of your friend, the two of you become lost within the mess of caves leading in and out of the mountain. Hungry, wet, and quite near frozen solid, the three of you seek shelter from the onslaught of hail inside of one of the many caves. Still willing to call it quits on the exploration without something to show to it, the pair of you push yourselves to continue on exploring.
It was to be that resolve that led the pair of you towards something that would perhaps be more than you could chew. After stumbling about for a bit longer, your friend and the player character come across what Ruin Maniacs and researchers alike have seeked for generations- the resting chamber of the Adamant and Lustrous orbs.
New life at the sight of the discovery fills you both, and you decide to take these treasures back, not knowing their priceless worth, to the class for bragging rights. They surely wouldn't punish the two of you if you came back with something this great, right? Unfortunately, in your excitement and haste to claim such treasures and get back to food and warmth, the player character accidentally causes the Adamant Orb to drop, shattering it.
At that moment, all hell breaks loose. Dialga, summoned by the orb to return to the Spear Pillar, flies into a rage the moment it's orb is shattered. And then the planet was paralyzed.
It proceeds to appear before the two children with full intent on punishing such incompetence, time becoming distorted in assorted patches in its wake. Passing through one of said patches would steal the individual away, bringing them randomly forward or backwards in time.
Frightened out of your wits, the pair of you dash to escape. It is then the Adamant Orb begins glowing as a reaction to the loss of the balancing orb, causing you to loose each other upon diving desperately into one of the time portals.
Congratulations, you've just become fugitives in time. Your partner for his orb, yourself for obvious reasons. While you've briefly managed to lose Dialga, who's intent on claiming your head in in it's rage by now, you have no idea where you are, you have no Pokemon for your protection, and, overall, at your limit. Player character promptly whites out.
You awaken to find yourself in a bed of sorts, within a house in a port town. Found by some workers collapsed in the dirt, you learn that you're resting on Iron Island... A decade in the past. It's here that the player character is to meet a boy a year or so older than him/herself with the power to sense and, to an extent, control aura (Hello, Riley).
At his age, he hasn't much experience, however, he knows enough to be able to sense when a divine force is somewhere nearby. The two of you decide to partner up, for the sake of your survival and his desire to get away from Canalave/Iron Island and improve himself. Perhaps not the wisest decision in terms of his life, but certainly more exciting than his current lifestyle, ne?it's also a plus to know when your killer is around.
Thus, your goal is twofold- train to become powerful enough to hold on your own against Dialga, or at least enough to win the mythical beast over to keep yourself from getting in any more trouble. However, to do this, you must find a way to beat time itself- eluding Dialga, while perhaps taking gym challenges on the side. Secondly, look for your lost friend (who is to become your rival).
It's truly a race against time; for your sake, let's hope you finish first.
Ta-daaah.
Still as much as a handful as the other plot with the whole partner bit and the time changes, but eh.
If you have any questions or comments, or just want to yell at me for being an idiot with my plots, feel free to drop me a line. Kinda sad I can't do this with visuals (or with my current skills in rom hacking...), but wutevah. I'LL FIGURE IT OUT SOMEHOW. >:C

Spoiler:
Once Upon a Time...
About five years ago, there was an aspiring author by the name of Marcel Schultz. Now, Marcel was witty, creative, but unfortunately, he was not cut out for writing horror novels as he so wished.
Instead, Mr. Marcel's writing was innocent and childlike; not at all particularly terrifying. Though dejected and a bit angry, Marcel took the opportunity anyway.
So, Marcel wrote. As he wrote, he began enjoying himself; expressing himself by any means possible. He created a new land in this little fantasy book, a land of four states- a land of kind people, a land of rude people, a land of quirky people, and a land of mean people. There were never wars, and everyone was happy.
He filled his fictional land with creatures, creatures of amazing powers, known as Pokemon. While he ignored the copyright laws, he was merely having his fun, and figured a big ol' company wouldn't come for him anyhoo. So, in his land, there were Pokemon, who lived and worked together with humans.
Finally, he recreated himself in the book, as the hero-author whom everyone loved and adored.
As the protagonist, he explored his land on many amazing missions as he killed ferocious foes that dared to disturb the peace of his land. Satisfied with his work, he took it in to the publisher.
It was rejected.
The editors felt that the visuals and description of the villain's death scene was... more suited to a twisted horror novel perhaps? They also didn't approve of the self-inserted hero, the shadow of the poor author who didn't seem to please anybody.
Frustrated, poor Marcel barely managed to contain himself as he went home to his grandparents.
After listening to the story, they reassured him him he'd find his niche someday, and sent him off to bed after a hot meal.
Later that night, his grandmother laid a hex upon the book, stating that anyone who opened the book would immediately become engrossed with the story.
Unfortunately, it did just that- the innocent looking little book sucked the the spirit and soul away from anyone who just so happened to glance at it's pages.
While the physical form would take on a silent, zombie-like manner and walk away as if nothing happened, the two spiritual elements would become trapped within the storyworld. They'd become split into two separate beings there- the spirit would remain as a human, typically cleared of mind, deepest desire on the mind before entering granted to them. While the soul, on the other hand, would take on the form of the Pokemon it best represented.
While the soul is capable of learning and bettering itself like any other Pokemon, there were a few differences. First and foremost, as the soul and spirit are deeply connected, the human and Pokemon pair were capable of of something like telepathy with each other, regardless of Pokemon type.
Secondmost, one is incapable of surviving without the other. Should the spirit die, the soul would become lost and instinctively head to the Fall Tower, where it would most likely follow shortly in it's spirit's tracks. While in the opposite case, without the soul to ground it, the spirit would simply disappear. Poof! Gone. As if it never existed in the first place.
The two would wake in front of the Rise Tower as if having just slept for a long time, a bit disoriented as to where they were and why. Perhaps they had lived here their whole lives? Perhaps everything they had gone through in their lives was just a dream?
Perhaps they lived a lie?
The first victim, was of course, Marcel himself. Taking his place with his self-insert hero, he slowly became corrupted by the power of his position. It was then, with the spite of all those years of rejection, he began to taint his happy fictional world with a rather mysterious Smeargle by his side.
As he noticed more and more people were finding their way into his land, he had a rather sickening idea. He recruited henchmen; others deprived of power who, like him, thirsted for a taste. Pokemon Gyms were set up around the land to test the souls and any gathered companions of those who came after.
It's rumored that Marcel knows how to leave the story- though he refuses to tell anyone who hasn't the strength to come try and overthrow him.
Will you escape, or remain trapped in Marcel's world forever? Will you become a successful trainer, or will you die trying?
It all depends on what's inside you.
... In a nutshell, you're trapped in a land ruled by a manchild of a nerd alongside his eerie soul of a Smeargle and an underground cultish band of gym leaders/elite four members. Be afraid. Be very afraid.
