The Grinding Challenge

I might try this in a modified slightly insane mode with egg moves and trading between games but all the pokemon will be breed or caught on the game that I do it on. Gonna try for 30 level 40's and a team of semi-Ev conscious training Level 75's in Heartgold. I'm first getting my team to level 40 then I'll fight Morty (4/8 Gymleaders), then I'll train a box of pokemon to level 30. By the time I beat Red, I will have 2 boxes of pokemon at level 60.

I finally figured out how to get outrage and earthquake on garchomp without using a tm.
dragonair + Gible = Outrage gible + Larvitar = Outrage Larvitar + gible = Earthquake Outrage Garchomp

Starting my game today, got the egg moves breed on Elekid. I'm gonna upgrade my progress every few hours.

1.e: Got Pokedex, Town map, and 5 Pokeballs.
1.f: Caught a new Pokemon: Pupz Jr.

Hi, i would like to take this challenge for the ruby game! It will be fun. :) i'll post my updates here and such. Thanks! Easy mode btw.

EDIT: Alright so i started the game, went through the beginning and such. I picked Treecko, defeated the poocheyna, and went through all that other stuff :P So after the beginning beginning, I grinded up Treecko to lvl 10, and went to odale town. I beat May easily, and went through all that other stuff, and went to the next part in the game. -The place where you go before you can get into the next town- I grinded Treecko up to lvl 12, and caught a poocheyena. I grinded both them up to lvl 15, beat the trainers, got into the next town, met my dad, helped wally catch his pokemon and moved on. I went through that forest, beat all of the trainers up to the next town. I am currently grinding my pokemon to lvl 20. I caught a Taillow.

Current team:
Grovyle: lvl 20
Mighteyena: lvl 18
Taillow: lvl 10

Sorry its short, and i left out their evolutions :P
I've played 10 hours so far -.-

Wow... this challenge takes way to long! Its pretty time consuming too... sorry... I'm gonna have to quit this one.

Hey, this challenge sounds really hard. And I
like hard. So I decided I want to take part in this challenge. I'll be playing the Black version. I'll keep you guys updated on my progress.

Day 1:
Started new game.
Chose Tepig as my starter.
Got Pokeballs from Prof.
Caught Lillipup and Patrat.
Grinded Tepig to Lvl 12, followed by Lillipup, then Patrat.
Went onwards to Accumula town.
Brought some essentials.
Began grinding Tepig. He got to 19.
Caught Purrloin. Grinded to 12
Began grinding Lillipup. He got to 15.
Saved and Stopped.

EDIT: As I was grinding I had been thinking

Insane Mode. You must capture every unique Pokémon you come across and train them to the required level before entering each town.

What if we buy repels and don't come across any new pokemon? :) it isn't against the rules. What do you think?

-Started the game and chose Turtwig as my starter.
-Grinded to lvl 10 before entering Sandgem town, nicknamed Turtwig Twizzler
-Bought Pokeballs and headed back to route 1
-Caught Bidoof (Chubbs), Kricketot (Melody) and Starly (Tempest)
-Grinded the mentioned above to lvl 10, Melody evolved
-Headed to route 2, caught Shinx (Pride) and after a lot of grinding (8 hours 50 minutes) got my team to lvl 15 (Bidoofs are monsters to lvl up)
-Finally entered Jubilife City

Damn. This challenge is really hard and takes a huge amount of time. Mankey was a ***** to grind. Pidgeotto, Wartortle, Spearow and Rattata were all okay but Mankey and Caterpie took FOREVER. I just Karate Chopped both of Brock's Pokemon for the win. On to Cerulean!

Also, while grinding, I ran into a shiny Weedle. I have a feeling that since I will be battling so many wild Pokemon, I might see a few more shinies.

This is taking forever! Oh my gosh. I had to grind for about 13 hours to get from Cerulean to Vermilion. That was so evil. The only good thing that has come out of this is that the battles are extremely easy and there is not a chance in the world that you could lose. I just beat Gary with my LV33 Pidgeotto. Lt. Surge is up next!

So freaking difficult. I played for SO LONG! Grinding in Mt. Moon was absolutely terrible. I am very sad. Nothing really exciting has happened so far. I would usually quit challenges like this, but because I am so involved already I might as well stay. This is a very tough challenge.

EDIT: Huh, no one replied to this thread so far. Anyway I started Saturday and chose Mudkip as a starter blah blah blah boring parts, then I grinded like crazy. It took forever to grind, I'm telling you. And I'm on insane... I've been catching everything and all so I got to Slateport with about 35 hours clocked in. I caught all the residential Pokemon so now I'm grinding them to 35, since everything else is. Almost halfway there!

Started new game.
Chose Snivy as my starter.
Defeat both of my Rivals Starters.
Got Pokeballs from Prof.
Caught Lillipup, Pidgey, Zigzagoon, Starly and Sentret.
Grinded Snivy to Lvl 12, followed by Lillipup, Pidgey, Zigzagoon, Starly and Sentret.
Went onwards to Accumula town.
Beat N 3 pokemon.
Began grinding Snivy. She got to 14.
Caught Caught both Caterpie and Weedle. Grinded to 7 both evolve into Kakuna and Metapot respective and then grind some more to evolve them into Butterfree and Beedrill and grind to level 12.
i also caught a wurmple. Grinded to 7 evolve into silcoon and then grind some more to evolve her into Beautifly and grind to level 12.
Began grinding Zigzagoon and Starly. They got to 13.
Saved and Stopped.

Arrived at Striaton City.
battled Cheren defeated his newly caught Starly and his starter and obtained hm 1.
Grinded ZigZag to lvl 20 and he evolved into Linoone
Caught a Ralts.
enter the Striaton Gym and battled Chili and easily defeated him (the grinding made him too easy and only Beedrill defeat all 6 of his pokemon with Cross Poison) and got the Trio badge and tm 83 Work up.
got to the Dreamyard and recived an PanPour and named him Ugly (I'm not using him I never use the elemental Monkeys).
defeated 2 Plazma Grunts.
left Bianca as she went to catch her new Pokemon.
did some pointless stuff with fennel.
switched Zigzag for Ralts.
grinded her to level 19.
went to Route 3 battled many trainers.
Ralts evolved into Kirlia
battled Cheren and defeated his newly evolved Staravia and his 2 new pokemon (a Roggenrola and a Pansage) and his starter
Caught a Shinx named her Lightning
switch Beedrill for Lightning
saved and stopped.
