    what exactly was it, i dont remember if they revealed it, i remember they gave it to kurt, but was happened then? what was inside it? did an episode or 2?
    i think they just forgot about it...><
     
    I might as well post, They forgott about it. It was forgotten about and it was only there to get ash to Hoenn I think... I cant rememebr,

    You were nearlly right with the excuse to go to Hoenn except it was Jhoto. I don't think it meant anymore.
     
    It was given to Kurt in the episode "Going Apricorn!" Kurt said that he would look into opening it to see what was inside, but like a lot of plot points, it was dropped. Which means that Kurt still has it in his shop. I believe that Ash and crew said that they would come back, or that Kurt would call them when he finally opened it, but nothing happened.

    It was actually an excuse to go to both the Orange Islands and Johto. To first get it from Prof. Ivy, and then to get it to Kurt.

    No, it was never seen again. No, it was never revealed what was inside. No, it most likely will never be seen again. Shame too, because there were some great speculations about what was inside.

    Actually, that IS what happened. Oak has it now, but we'll probably never hear about it again, so yeah, there ya go.
     
    Maybe we will see it again in the 4th generation of pokemon.
     
    One of the wacky rumors for the 4th movie was the GS Ball was to finally be opened. But it compensated by focusing the Pokemon within the ball--Celebi.

    As you know, the Japanese version of Crystal had you deliver the GS Ball to Kurt and then he'd call you, via the Wireless system/mobile adapter and place it in the Ilex Forest's Shrine and a Level 30 Celebi would pop out. Yeah.

    I doubt they'll address that as Celebi already made its debut and the series wants to develop more and more of Gen IV Pokemon. Yeah. Disappointing.

    Had such a good conspiracy theory with the ball and Giovanni, too. Oh well.

    Prof. Oak does not have the GS Ball. They left it with Kurt, who was going to open it and call them back when he did. He never opened it, never called them back, and the GS Ball is with Kurt. End of story.

    Nearly everyone thought the GS Ball held Celebi. And I don't think the writers will go back to cover it again...

    WRONG. Kurt catches up with Ash & crew as they're leaving Johto, gives them back the GS ball, and they took it back to Oak. NOW End of story.
