"Oh, man, I should never have come here," the boy said to himself. The boy's name was Will, and he had entered the cave on a deal from one of his friends. His friend had told him that if he could stay inside the cave for five minutes, he would give him his pidgey. Having always wanted a pokemon of his own, Will had quickly accepted. As he was walking through the cave, he had noticed a pair of what seemed to be eyes staring at him. The eyes seemed red, and bloodshot. But by far the most disturbing thing about the eyes had been how incredibly sad they seemed. He had called out to the owner of the eyes, but all he had gotten was a nerve-chilling moan in return. As the eyes started to move backwards, he foolishly followed them in a strange trance that seemed to take hold of his whole body. Hours later, the eyes just seemed to dissapear into nothingness, and Will was left alone, in a semi lighted cave, and hopelessly lost.

Deciding it was better to start looking for an exit then to stand around cursing his fate, Will set off at a nonchalant pace. Now that he thought about it, the cave was actually quite nice, with the walls colored a vivid yellow-ish, red-ish blend. He had once heard that a hermit with incredibly powerful pokemon had moved in here, and inhabited it. Of course, everyone knew that that was just a story told to kids to get them to stay way from the cave.

As he was wondering if there even existed an exit, His left foot hit something hard, and he tripped. As he lifted himself from the dirt, all his anger at being stuck in the cave and for accepting the bet in the first place broke loose and as soon as he was up, he directed a powerful kick into what made him trip, and the small object landed 4 metres from where he was standing. Strangely enough, the object started to move, and two furry arms and leg sprouted, each having short, albeit sharp-looking claws.Soon a head ornated with large ears and half moon on the forehead came out. The mysterious object was a teddiursa! As soon as it's eyes were open, the little bear began to bawl, and very loudly, too. As Will started towards it in effort to calm it down, the furry boombox doubled the volume at which it was yelling, it's shrill cry seemingly drilling itself into Will's head. All of a sudden, another sound joined the fray, and it seemed to calm the baby down. The sound was a deep growl, and as Will turned to see the origin of it, it quicly turned into a deafening growl, accompanied by a blast of hot air, and the stench of rotting meat. Sensing the imminent danger that came with being face to face with an angry ursaring, Will tried to move, but found himself paralyzed with fear, as the imposing figure raised his arm, and brought it down in a graceful-yet-deadly arc, Will pulled himself away from the powerful arm's path, and saw the gashes it had left on the ground when he had previously been standing. Summoning all his courage, Will found the bravery to turn his back to the angry bear, and ran as fast, and hard, as he had in his entire life. Ten minutes later, he came to stop, and found that he was no longer being pursued, so he restarted his search for the exit, now apprehensive to every detail.

Around an hour later, he came to a pond, and, the long walk and dry atmosphere having made him thirsty, parched his dry throat with some liquid relief. As he was nearing his full, he noticed a pair of large, globulous eyes staring right at him from in the water. Thinking this was the same pair of eyes that had led him astray, he struck out at them in anger, creating smal waves that silently spread across the pond. The pair of eyes flinched, and a large frown appeared on them. That was when a green arm came out of the water and delivered a powerful, lightining fast blow to his nose.
