The International Bug Catching Contest!

WELCOME TO
THE INTERNATIONAL BUG CONTEST!

The Bug Catching contest has become incredibly popular over the years, with trainers from all over the world gathering to participate. It takes place in Johto's National Park, which has expanded to include more forested areas, lakes and rivers. More pokemon have also been introduced to roam around. The contest is approximately one day long. It starts in the early morning and ends at night.

The event has also drawn media attention. Don't be surprised to see a Chatot equipped with a camera following your character around. Every action will be recorded and seen by people everywhere!

Who will emerge victorious in this year's Bug Catching Contest?

RULES
- You may roleplay only one character.
- Trainers will choose only ONE pokemon to participate in the tournament.
- No legendaries allowed.
- Trainers are given only 20 Pokeballs.
- I will be the "contest master" and will determine which Pokemon each trainer encounters. (No, you can't get a Heracross right off the bat. :0) )
- Trainers can team up to catch Pokemon, but each trainer must present one Pokemon at the end of the day. The first Pokemon that trainers catch will be their contest entry.
- Your first post must be a trainer bio.
- The roleplay will start when at least 5 people apply by this Sunday (27 Oct. 2013)
- The roleplay is rated K+

TRAINER BIOS
Here is the general format of what your trainer bio should look like:

NAME: Firstname, Middlename (if any) and Lastname
AGE: Must be between ages 10-40
HOMETOWN: Where did your trainer come from? Lavender town in Kanto, Goldenrod city in Johto, Littleroot Town in Hoenn..?
PERSONALITY: General description of your character's personality. Don't forget to mention strengths and weaknesses.

APPEARANCES
Insert a picture. Feel free to use this if you don't have an original picture! (Shameless advertising)

HAIR: What color is the hair? Is it short, medium, long, curly, wavy, straight? Does your character wear pigtails or ponytails? etc.
EYES: What color are the eyes? Are the eyes large or small? Does it normally look angry, sad, tired or happy?
SKIN: What color is your character's skin? Does s/he have freckles, scars, beauty marks, etc?
OUTFIT: What clothes will your character be wearing to the contest?

Describe the Pokemon that you will choose for the contest.
POKEMON: The Pokemon species name (e.g. Pikachu, Eevee)
NICKNAME: Your Pokemon's nickname
GENDER: Gender, if any
MOVES: List up to four moves your Pokemon knows.​
