The scientifical name of the Golden Eagle is Aquila Chrysaetos. They nest in Canyons, especially near deserts. Unfortunately their numbers have went down...
They have a wingspam estimated around 80 to 90 1/2 inches

Yes,but not the largest, however. ^^ I believe that Albatrosses have the largest wingspan. The largest ever found was very close to 12 feet ^^
