Alright, this is my first thread here, and this is a funny story I wrote as a joke. I hope you guys like it. Please give me real reviews.
Here goes the joking story: The Worst Doduo!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Part 1: Whispers of Betrayal
Bob the Doduo scratched his head worriedly. His trainer, Joe, was going to give him to Professor Oak today. But Bob couldn't help thinking mean things.
"Why Joe? Why are you being so cruel? I've been so nice, I beat Erika for you, and I even gave you a haircut."
Suddenly, Bob heard a cry. "Bob! I choose you!"
Bob was out in a field, looking at an angry Dratini. The grass on the praire twitched expectantly, as if watching the battle unfold between Bob's trainer and the Dratini's trainer, a girl with pink hair and a cruel smile.
"Bob! Use Peck!" Bob ducked and rolled torward the Dratini, and stabbed it with his sharp beaks. But the Dratini rolled off. "Tini! Tini!"
The girl called "Dratini, use Twister!" A huge twister swirled on the field, and swept Bob into it. "Duo! Duo!"
Joe watched as Bob was swept away, then landed with a soft thump on the ground. Bob shook himself.
"Bob! Go and use Quick Attack!" Bob did, but the Dratini was too fast. The other girl told Dratini to use Twister.
Bob landed again on the hard-packed dirt. "Ow. My butt hurts." Bob thought. Joe sighed and called Bob back. "Oh, Bob. I'm sorry, but we've got to get you to Professor Oak. He's waiting for us."
After a long and bumpy, ride, Bob thought of the many adventures he had had with Joe. He remembered Joe's sweet smile, and how he had caught Bob with a Magby.
He recalled the final moments in Erika's gym battle, when the Victreebel had been advancing on Vulpix, Joe's hurt and main Pokemon.
"Vulpix! Fire Spin!" Joe had yelled, but it was too late. Vulpix had been poisoned, and slumped to the ground. "Alright! Let's go, Bob!"
Bob had been called out, and then with a final Peck, Victreebel was down and victory had been claimed his.
Bob was jarred from nostalgia by Joe's voice. "Listen, professor, I have to give you Bob. He's being retired. Can you please take care of him well?"
Bob was released, and he saw Professor Oak's kind and stern face glancing at him. "You really want to give this Pokemon up?" Joe nodded wistfully, as if remembering what Bob had.
"Duo! Duo!" Bob cried. Joe looked up. "I'm sure, professor. Just take care of him well." The professor nodded curtly, and took Bob's Poke ball back from Bob's trainer.
"Thank you for the good times, Bob." Joe called over his shoulder, and then he was gone. The professor bent down.
"You certainly are a nice Pokemon. I'll put you with Ash's Pokemon, then." He decided. Bob got up and moved around a little, and tried to socialize with this kid Ash's Pokemon.
"My name is Bob." But the Phanphy turned around, ignoring Bob's greeting. Then, all the lights flickered out. Some of the younger Pokemon cried. Bob went up to them and whispered comforting thing.
"You guys are okay. The professor is just going out for the night. Maybe he has a Mrs. Professor, or maybe he just hates you." The Pokemon cried again. Bob moaned, then curled up for sleep.
He dreamed of the wild. He dreamed of being with Joe on the Sinnoh journey they had been planning. Worst of all, Joe had planned to take on the Pokemon World Champion, Ash Ketchum of Pallet Town, with Bob. But it hadn't worked out.
A thought occured to the sleeping Doduo. He would get revenge for being cooped up with the elderly professor, and he missed being trained.
The next morning, early dawn light leaked into the walls of the lab. Bob rubbed his eyes and thought "Well, what will happen today?"
A kid suddenly pushed his way into the lab. His wild purple hair and glinting green eyes gave him away as an aspiring trainer. He was wearing Rapidash undies. "I AM THE BEST TRAINER EVER!" He picked Bob up just as the professor entered the room.
"What are you doing, Eugene? Bob is being kept here by Joe. He can't be your starter Pokemon." Eugene huffed indignantly. "But he is cool. He's cooler than sour cream in a freeze-dried onion."
Bob beamed. "Doduo! Duo!" Professor Oak asked worriedly "Will you give Bob back to Joe at the end of your journey?" Eugene nodded, his purple hair flying in Bob's face.
"Finally. A trainer. This will show Joe." Bob thought. And so began the journey of the Worst Doduo.
