Whatever she did to me, it was starting to take its toll. I quickly threw Saphira out of the lab and unleashed all of my energy. When the blast cleared, everything was destroyed, and I was hanging on to my life!
my protect had come off about halfway through the assult, and I was hardly breathing. I was down to the ground, whimpering slightily, but a sudden dark power burst summoned my guards. I'd be healed withen a few minutes..
IC: I walked over to Eclipse, severely dazed from the massive electric attack, though I was stunned, I was otherwise unharmed. "You okay?" I asked, bending down to pick her up.
I didn't respond, as I was totally spent, but I managed to say with the last of my energy "get.... the Raichu morph... to the emergency room." and with that i fell unconcous.
I didn't bother to respond, but set her down gently, and went to pick up the raichu morph. Though as I got to the door, several people burst into the room, and things quickly descended into organized chaos...
The people who entered the room quickly proceeded to hook me to one of the few remaining machines in the room, which started healing me, but I knew that the Raichu needed special care, and he needed it now...
"Hey, you there." I said, gently poking one of the people with a finger like a branding iron. "Eclipse said this raichu morph needs to get to the emergency room, immidiately." I said, a slight growl infused with the last word.
"fine, fine, okay" the man said, taking the Raichu morph, and with the help of another member, hurried him to the emergency room. I was healing fast and I could feel myself start to return to concousness..
I saw Eclipse open her eyes, and couldn't resist a joke "Good morning!" I said, with a slightly dopey smile on my face. "I'd offer some bacon and eggs, but the morphs managed to escape, so I have nothing to make them from."
"not the time" I gently scolded, though I didn't move, as the machine still had a lot of work to do. "was the Raichu morph taken to the emergency room?"
My ears drooped slightly, though I couldn't stop smiling. "Yeah, I had it taken care of, it's amazing how insistant poking can be." I said, holding up one finger, which happened to be just barely fading from being brand-iron temperature.
"that had to hurt." I said, finally getting to my feet. "i'm going to make sure those idiots in the emergency room don't screw things up again, you can come if you want" I said, heaidng for the door.
"Sure!" I said, walking along after her, looking so much like a happy puppy running after his owner that one of the people snickered, until he realized his shoe was on fire.
When I got to the emergency room, I saw that the Raichu morph had been laid down on a hospital bed, and he had been hooked up to several extremly powerful machines, designed for such a situation. "amazing. the idiots did somethign right for once." I said calmly.
I wrinkled my nose in disgust. The chemical smells in this room were sickening, almost overpowering. Perhaps there were some advantages to being purely human...
"Just out luck, isn't it?" I said, only a slightly miffed tone in my voice as I sat down in one of the chairs near the morphs bed, and motioned for Eclipse to take the other.
I nodded, and sat in the chair next to him. I hadn't realised how tired I was until all the tension and stress was gone, and I felt like I was going to pass out shortly..
I looked over at Eclipse, and noticed that she seemed to be worn down, despite the healing. "You ok?" I asked, wondering if there was anything I could do to help her.
