    Interesting theme.

    I think I'll cook something up for it. Always been fond of minimalistic spriting.

    These restrictions in no way, shape or form, limit creativity, gs135790. There's no need to flame the people holding this contest just because you can't meet the standards. Take your off-base comments somewhere else. o.o

    Can we use white, or does that break the color rule? since white's not really a color.

    No, you may not use white.

    Aww...that stinks, and does that mean we can't use black either?
     
    It's irrelevent that white and black aren't olours, neither one appeared on the palette, so neither one is allowed, just work with what you've got.
     
    [Designed Child]'s entry is not valid due to use of unapproved colors.

    You have to ONLY use the given colors, that's the whole reason they're there. White is not one of the available colors. You are free to edit your entry, however.

    gone forever deleted it too. just cus i dont know how to make the background transparent
     
    DC: Then ask someone who has photoshop to make it transparent, or here's an even better idea, MAKE a background.

    Transparency is allowed, then?
     
    So are you looking for a "picture", as in we'd get minus points for not having a background, or would characters on transparent (or yellow) backgrounds be just as good?
     
    We're not looking for anything in particular. We just want to see good pixel art and good use of color.
