Silly you Allstories, although it is still a pixel over, therefore is not scratch so it's still disquilified.

Ok, I entered mine, but it isn't done well. I never know how to shade. Someone really needs to make a tutorial on that for pixel art.

oooh wow i love a challenge and this will be my first entry of a contest wow!

Qwertyman, you have being disquilified for breaking the following rule.

"# No old work. This has to be new stuff. Although with the restricted palette that sort of goes without saying."

I'm doing a landscape pic. =/ Just thought the colors would look good for that.

They would IMO, I'm looking forawd to this entry Dragonfree, dopn't let me down ^_^

My item is coming along nicely

Shading looks kind of poor though

You won't believe just how annoying this was to make. <_< Dithering large areas is a nightmare.

But yeah, it's my entry, most likely to be subjected to some tweaking.

Now that, is sheer skill, although prehpas dithering wasn't the smoothest technique you could of used, meh, still awesome.

Yeah, I was thinking about changing that a little... I'm not too happy with the sky right now.

I added a couple of clouds, though.

Y'know, it IS possible to dither to less or greater degrees. You're just going SOLID COLOR - CHECKERED GRADIENT - SOLID COLOR - CHECKERED GRADIENT - SOLID COLOR - CHECKERED GRADIENT - etc. It doesn't really flow very well, and it's kind of distracting. However, this is the type of stuff I had in mind when I devised the theme.

Just finished editing the sky. I like it a lot more now, although near the sun I'm going to tweak a couple of pixels.

Well I finished mine and it's another crappy koopa. I don't know why I always make koopas, but whatever that's my entry.
