Getting up after the meeting with professor oak, Sam did not want to waste time. "Good Morning. I'm Sam, Professor Rowan's assistant. I don't know why I'm here, but I suppose it would be good to get to know you all" Sam said. After saying that, he left. Knowing this would likly be a long and dangerous mission, Sam would have to stock up on supplies. And food. Lots of food. Walking into the pokemart, Sam asked, "Do you have...Potions, Hyper Potions, Super Potions, Full Restores, Full Heals, Antidotes, Prlz Heals and Burn Heals, and maybe some Ice Heals if you have some in stock?" "Um...yeah, but why all the supplies?" the clerk asked. Sam knew he couldn't tell about the mission, so...."I'm a trainer. I'm going out for a long training session in an area with many types of pokemon, so I want to be prepared." "Oh. Alright. That'll be 95523 Poke Dollars." the clerk said. "Ugh...kinda expensive, still...the price of work is NOT cheap." Sam was about to pay with a credit card he had brought with him, when an envelope fell out of the folder. "Hmm? What's this?" Sam asked, picking it up. Inside was another credit card, and a note. It said, "This is the card you should use when paying for supplies. I know that you likely do not have the money to pay for all the supplies you are going to need." "Wow...thanks professor oak. Okay. I'll use this one," Sam said.
The clerk ran the card and Sam now had to place all the items in his bag. He'd be weighed down for most of the trip, but that was better than having to head to a pokecenter, thus wasting time. Next up was the food store. Great...Sam thought. Walking in, Sam was greeted a familiar face. "Professor Oak!" Sam said. The professor was here. "Ah...Sam, was it? What are you doing here?" he asked. "Well, since I'm going to be on a journey, I'm going to need some food to eat, and I'm pretty sure no one else will remember, so that's why I"m here. Oh! And thank you for the credit card. It came in handy at the last store..." Sam said. "No problem. Looks like you've got a fair number of supplies. Well, I figured someone would be here, so I preordered the food. Its ready now. Good luck!" he said, leaving. Sam picked up the food and headed back to the hotel. Tomorrow, he would be going to the Veridian Forest. This was the start of a great adventure, he could feel it.
