how much of this club did i miss? i miss being here i love this club, i am sorry but being that my lack of attendence is getting much to absently, i hereby resign my co owner spot, i just want to be a member, give it to someone who comes daily. well thanks. latias is the cooliest.
 
Ya actually didnt miss that much o.0 and dont worry about yur duties too...

Im gonna veto ur resignation and give u another chance :P

U dont have to worry about like "letting us down" or anything like that. u can just check back every now and then to see how things are going (and make a post if the club has been inactive for a week or more ;D)

Lookin thru your old posts and I think ur right! I really shoulda put a "both" option on the poll =/ But I guess its too late now unless I wanna remake the club AGAIN [since, as the name states, this is the second Lati FC (that Ive been part of), seeing as the previous founder became inactive T_T so it had to be remade, yet there have been a few more]

And of course, topic ideas are always greatly considered!

EDIT: btw, shiny mr mime, if your absolutely POSITIVE about resigning as co-owner, you can post (or PM) again about it, but seriously tho, its no big deal about not being active for a while, everyone has their down-days!

So... would you consider the Latis "uber"? Its currently under dispute/debate/argument/fistfight as to whether or not they should be when they arent holding Soul Dew, since as far as everyone else is concerned, either one of them holding the Soul Dew does indeed become uber. Hey, I cant help it if I like powerful Pokémon can I? Theyre even thinkin of considering Skarmory (my 3rd fav) uber! I mean cmon! And for those of u at home, uber means a no-no for competitive play, so it would suck for us =/ Id be willing to take Soul Dew off my Latias if it would allow her to be used in competition.
 
Well, no. Latias is a rare, not an uber. And Skarmory is just a normal pokemon! What's wrong with the world?

But adding Soul Dew wouldn't make it an uber either... It would be like adding a Focus Band or something to it...

What do you think of the Latis' stats as compared with other legendaries?

although lately weve just been discussing random stuffs about them, yet were still kinda talkin about their stats and ubers and stuff, so I guess we are on topic still =/

@Madii: Well, ppl think the Latis (and Skarmory kinda) are uber because, by definition (kinda), ubers are either A. too strong (ex. Arceus), or B. too cheap (ex. Wobbuffet)for competitive play.

The latis are considered uber because of their unique and beneficial type combo + trait, and their wide movepool. The stats they excel at (special stuff) are off the charts already while the physical stuff remains average. But once you attach a Soul Dew to them, their special stats can range from the mid-300s to the 500s! As we all know, having stats between 350-500 is nothing to SCOFF at. But without Soul Dew, their special stats will be between 250-350 ... which is STILL nothing to SCOFF at! (I like the word SCOFF xD) But then again, many other non-uber Pokémon, like ttar, metag, or sala, have high stats too. So what separates ubers from these guys?

I have no clue. The definition of uber to me is very broad and most legendaries are automatically biased as uber, which annoys me.

"Uber" is a German word that translates as "super" to clear things up =P Its also a term that geeks use to mean "superk00l"
If all Pokémon were the same, wouldnt things get old fast, then? Id like some variety, although Arceus is kinda insane... 120s across the board on base stats?!?! o_0

I think Latis's stats are better. Only their Special Attack, Special Defense and Speed are good.

Hurh... I'm yet to catch a Latias and finish the Pokemon League, let alone transfer one to Pal Park! V_V So much work, so little time T_T
