Wait...so Rayquaza kills Ash??? That's a little violent for pokemon, don't you think?

I'm pretty sure most pokemon are perfectly able to kill humans. Even Latias. It's just that they never have a need to, because most humans don't try and kill them (the exception would be scumbags like Team Rocket, and not those three morons).
 
Of course, if Pokémon followed the laws of physics and chemicals at all, Ash would've been killed by Pikachu long ago desu~! =O

Just remember, its only okay to bend the laws of physics if it ends up anime style xD
 
Yeah, physics are almost non-existent in animes/mangas(Like Pikachu shocking Ash) But, you know that's half the fun.

The Latis could easily kill anything. They can sneak up behind the victim when they are invisible, take the victim, fly really fast and then, like stop. The victim would get deadly shellshock or something.(if that's what you'd call it) But, I'd rather not think about that stuff.
 
No... the victim would fly out of the Lati's grasp at supersonic speeds and splat against something. If the speed they were traveling at didn't rip their skin off first.

Or the Latis could just poke those claws of theirs into someone's neck. Or fry their brains with a Psychic attack. Meh, the possibilities are endless.

That's what I was going to say, but I just ate, so I didn't want to think about it... @_@
Oh well. To put it simply, I think the Lati's would be the best pokemon ever if real physics aplied to pokemon.

Anyways, if every comic obeyed the laws of physics, Disney and WB would be out of business, most superheroes would be dead and all the fun would be out of comics.

Funny though, isn't it, that when pokemon battle, they only get small scrapes instead of what should be large scars and death.

Well, yes, I do think so. It just depends on the form of Deoxys. They could MURDER the standard form, and also totally pwn the speed form. I'm not so sure if they could beat the attack and defense forms, though. Well, the reason I said that the standard and normal forms couldn't stand a chance against the Lati's is because all of the forms of Deoxys have embarrassingly low health, and severely unbalanced stats.( and the standard and speed forms have low defense )

Yes, I think the Latis can beat Deoxys. Because some Deoxys forms have low defense and special defense. The Latis can beat it with Shadow Ball.

I know all about the differing stats of the Lati's and the Deoxies because I own them. And to tell you the truth I don't know what the big deal about Deoxys is. If it gets hit, it's dead.

My Latios is much more reliable than my Deoxys.

Okay, I see. And so you have Latias and Latios in my team, that's good. Which one do you like more, The Latis or Deoxys?

The Lati's are more fun to use to tell you the truth. Also, I've been using them longer, and they know better moves than Deoxys.

Latios's move set:
Ice Beam
Thunderbolt
Fly(knida "iffy" I know)
Psychic

Latias's move set:
Ice Beam
Recover
Thunderbolt
Psychic

Deoxys's move set:
Psychic
Psycho Boost
Ice Beam
Recover

Well, Deoxys's move set isn't really all that bad, but it has low type advantages.

More posts are a good thing, no? And true you are. I just dont know why in the anime, when a Razor Leaf and a Bubblebeam hit eachother, there's a fiery explosion.. doubleyu-tee-eff!!

Most of the time, yes...

Standard Form: All around sucky stats; a mere warmup for the Latis
Attack Form: If the Latis can attack first, then this guy is toast without much trouble at all
Defense form: Sure it can take a lot of hits, but it cant give out many on its own. Beat it down, recover when necessary
Speed Form: The most balanced of the bunch, and one of the few Pokémon that can actually out-speed a correctly EV-trained Lati (like the one I spent a month on finding! ^_^; ) A close battle. Movesets probably decide this one desu~

Bah, Latis all the way! (of course this is coming from, well ... me) besides the Deoxyses (plural = Deoxies?) are all ugly, with the exception of Speed form, which I can live with. Besides, the Latias are well balanced with a kicka*s type combo and good stats all around. Deoxys, well, anything he's not good at, he sucks at. Period! Desu~!

Wow...you really sound like you know what you're talking about!! I asume you so know what you're talking about. Aren't you?

Well anyways, well said about the Lati-Deoxys debate topic thingy!^^ I think it's a great topic because Deoxys(only some forms) and the Latis seem like a really good match. The only real way to find out who's better is to stop making educated guesses, and actually testing out what you believe.

( I edited the last part so it didn't seem like a lab test from science at school. )
 
Nice Pokemon's movesets you have, Mewtwo42. I will choose the Latis because they have good special attack, special defense and speed.
