As far as natures go, I have no idea what anybody's ever talking about.
It's so confusing. But, whatever boosts the best stats( which are spd, def/sp.def, and sometimes sp.atk/atk )I'm fine with.
My Latis of course, I don't know what thier natures are.

I wouldn't mind trying a Latias or Latios for a defensive nature, to see how they go. Although, if I was doing it for real, Latios would be a special sweeper, maxing out Special Attack. For Latias, I would max out... Speed, and see how I went for Defence and Sp. Attack.

Right, Im gonna go after a Modest Latios (when my friend gives me his ruby dangit! D8) and max out its SP.ATK and probly his SPD too, And yeah, I totally went for Speed on my Latias desu~!:

HP: 272
ATK: 152
DEF: 221 EVs maxed
SP.ATK: 225
SP.DEF: 292 EVs bumped up a bit
SPD: 316 EVs almost maxed C:

What is a good nature for Latias and Latios in games?
Well, actually I'm too lazy to go for any specfic nature for the Lati's. I happy with whatever. The Latias I have is of Sassy nature, not the best to have but i've had worse. Any nature that would boost Speed or Special Attack/Attack (depending on which Lati) is great as long as it doesn't weaken others that are needed. But as I said, i'm too lazy to constantly try for a perfect Lati, I just prefer to use a nice shiny masterball (which I only use on pokemon that flee generally) and get it done with. (Thro in RL if it was possible I wouldn't just catch any of the Lati's straight out like that). Anyway its not like I tend to use any Lati in competitive battling, even in casaul battling with others. In fact in no battle have I ever used a legendary against another person.

Yeah, I kept my masterball. Then I just went searching for Latias using an easy, repetitve method, and whever I saw her, I threw the MB. Then I checked her nature. If it wasnt what I wanted, I just turned off and turned back on again! 8D

This went on for about a month x_x

If you EV train the nature-boosted stat, even good IVs wont be enough to beat the stat desu~

Well, I say it a lot refering to pokemon, and the Lati's because....I don't know. I guess it's because that's what they always said on the shows.

I think its because it is meant to be said like it's gender neutral. It annoys me that they prefer to the opposinf pokemon as Enemy or foe...its not totally correct really.

Why Bold and Modest, Rene?

Why? I am not sure about their natures. I think Bold is not a good nature for Latias. Maybe it will be Calm. Because Latias has good special defense. For Latios, I choose Modest Nature because its special attack is high.

I don't like Natures. They confuse me, so I just stick to keeping with teaching them moves according to thier stats and types and stuff....

Why are the Lati's always what gender you expect them to be?(Latias = female(Latios = male)) Id on't get it. (not intended to be a topic.....)

Huh? Its biological. Latias are the females of the species, and Latios are the males. No exceptions desu~ =S

Anyways, I was thinking the other day, the Latis are kinda.. not legendaries! Because a legendary pokemon is a pokemon where there is only one of the kind.

There are more than 1 Latias or Latios... Correct me if I'm wrong.

I wish the Latis could breed X_X

They don't seem all that Legendary to me, either.
With the genders. But, every legendary is a species. They're just rare, and there's only one in the games. so, now that I think about it...i think that they do seem legendary, because you can only get one, they can't breed, and they have great stats.
